Although it’s Easter weekend most people will be staying at home rather than visiting others. I say most, because some people are still working in essential services, whether that’s health and social care, the emergency services, trucking or in stores that remain open for essential supplies. Thank you to everyone who continues to stay home, please don’t underestimate the importance of the part you play. The fewer people who go out, and the less time you spend there, the more likely we are to able to keep these essential workers healthy. Essential workers are not immune to the virus, they have not been vaccinated against it. They run the same risk of contracting it as everyone else. But they have to put that fear aside for the greater good of their community. So I created this triangle favour box project just for them.

TRIANGLE FAVOUR BOX
I originally designed this little triangle favour box to hold 2 Hershey’s Nuggets. However I discovered that it also can hold a few Hershey’s Kisses, or even little mini chocolate eggs.
The box is easy to make using a 5-1/2″ x 6″ piece of card or Designer Series Paper (DSP). With the long side at the top I scored it at 1-1/2″, 3″ and 4-1/2″. Then with the short side at the top I scored at 1-1/2″ and 4″.
Finally I gently folded along the scored lines and cut tabs as shown in the diagram.

For today’s box I used an Old Olive and gold foil piece from the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). Before assembling it though I shaped the flap using the corner rounder option on the Detailed Trio Punch.
A while ago I filmed a video showing how to create this favour box. Although the finished project is different, the cutting, scoring and assembly process is the same.
FOR ALL YOU DO
To decorate today’s favour box I turned to the Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set. This set was in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue but was carried over and is still available to purchase.
Using Early Espresso ink I stamped the rabbit image onto some Thick Very Vanilla Card. Then I stamped the “for all you do” sentiment from the new Ornate Thanks Stamp Set. Finally to colour the bunny I used just the light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker.

Now with the stamping and colouring done I used Paper Snips to cut partly around the bunny. Instead of fussy-cutting the whole image I then used my Paper Trimmer to cut above and below the sentiment leaving the bunny in place. Going back to the Detailed Trio Punch I shaped the bottom right corner of the sentiment using the corner rounder option.
Next I flipped the piece over and used Tear & Tape Adhesive to attach some Very Vanilla 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim to the back. Then I attached the sentiment to the bottom edge of the flap on the favour box using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
All I had left to do was add my small chocolate treats to the box and secure the flap in place with a little Tear & Tape Adhesive. My pretty little box was complete.
PRODUCT LIST
I bought the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in a bundle with the Ornate Borders Dies (not used today). This meant I saved 10% off the cost of buying the two items separately. I’ve included a link to the bundle in case you want to explore that option.
