I know I’ve said it before, but I love the Fond Of Autumn Stamp Set. First there’s a gorgeous large image that is perfect for a card front. Then there’s three smaller images that are great for decorating envelopes and the inside of cards. In addition there’s also a banner image and six sentiments. But what I love the most are the unusual features of the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Dies. I showcased these dies in two previous blog posts, and today’s project is the last in this three part series.

AUTUMN BERRIES
I created this series to show off one of the dies in the Autumn Bouquet Dies set that coordinates with the large image in the Fond of Autumn Stamp Set. This particular die cuts around the stamped image, but at the same time cuts the image into four pieces! I used one piece each in my two previous blog posts, so all I had left now was the two berry pieces.
To recap, I previously stamped the large image onto Thick Basic White Card using Early Espresso ink. Then I die cut the image. Today all I had to do was colour these pieces using Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. I wanted something quite different from my earlier projects and used dark Poppy Parade on the berries. Then I coloured the leaves using dark and light Shaded Spruce.
Next I needed a tag base and for that I chose the #3 flat topped die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies (counting from the smallest up). Using this die I cut some Thick Basic White Card. Inspired by my colouring, I found a scrap of Poppy Parade Card . Then I cut it out using one of the small dies in the set to create reinforcements for the oval hole.
All I had to do was use Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to attach a reinforcement piece to both sides of the tag. With that done I cut 6″ of white twine from the Bakers Twine Essentials Pack. After folding the twine in half I poked the loop through the reinforced hole. Then I threaded the cut ends through the loop and pulled gently to secure it in place.
LAYERED PIECES
Now I needed a sentiment and I decided to use what I had close to hand, the Celebrating You Stamp Set. I chose “So proud of you” and stamped it onto a scrap of Thick Basic White Card using Early Espresso ink. It was only then that I thought about how I would cut out my sentiment…

I really wanted something to repeat the faux stitched detail around the edge of the tag. I have a number of dies that do this, but the little holes are more like dashes than the dots I wanted. Then I remembered that the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies also included some label-style dies. Eureka! There it was, the perfect little oval die complete with the edge detail I was looking for, and I die cut my sentiment.
From there my tag came together really quickly. First, using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals I added the two autumn berry pieces to the tag base. Then with more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals I layered the sentiment on top. Finally I added three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a little sparkle and I was done.
I love the look of this tag. It’s a design that could work for any occasion with a simple change of colours or sentiment. What do you think?
In case you missed it, here’s my video showing you the three main dies included in the Autumn Bouquet Dies set.
