Today started quite well. It was one of those rare days when I had a lie-in. I awoke with a pretty good idea of what I was going to make for my blog today, and I had a hot cup of coffee on my desk. All I had to do was open up the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set and create. And that’s when things started to go downhill…
The trouble was I didn’t just have one idea I had several. Actually more then several. As sometimes happens though, they started fine and then I hit a creative block. As time ticked away I was conscious of the increasing pile of part-made projects surrounding me, but finally one came together.

A SIMPLE YET INTERESTING TAG
This gift tag started with a 2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Card and the Detailed Trio Punch. First I used the oval hole option to add the hole at the top. Then I used the corner rounder option to shape the top right and bottom left of the tag.
TIP – If you want to know how I get the oval hole centred, check out this 30 second solution tip from my YouTube channel.
Next using Old Olive ink I stamped the large leafy image from the free Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set at the bottom of the tag. This was followed by the small flowers stamped at the end of each stem in Daffodil Delight.
Finally I completed the main part of the tag with the “Thank you” sentiment stamped at the top in Tuxedo Black ink.
SMALL BLOOM PUNCH
For the larger flower I began by stamping it onto a scrap of Thick Whisper White Card with Daffodil Delight ink. Then I added the small flower centre in Tuxedo Black in the style of a black-eyed Susan flower.

Next I grabbed another free product, the coordinating Small Bloom Punch, and punched out the flower. Then using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional I added the flower to the centre of the leafy arrangement.
To complete the tag I cut two pieces of Whisper White Baker’s Twine, folded them in half and threaded the loop through the hole at the top of the tag. Then once I passed the cut ends through the loops and pulled to secure them I had a finished project. Finally.
THOUGHTFUL BLOOMS AND MORE
I must admit that if it hadn’t been for the fact that I was able to choose the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set as a free Sale-A-Bration item I probably wouldn’t have it. That said, now I’ve had the chance to play with it I’m loving the possibilities. Hence the pile of half finished projects currently sitting on my desk. Of course being able to get the coordinating Small Bloom Punch for free was an added bonus.
You can see another project made using this stamp set in my blog post Thoughtful Blooms for spring.
If you want to get your hands on the stamp set and/or punch all you have to do is place an order. During the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion for every $60 you spend (before shipping and taxes) you can choose a free level 1 item, like the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set. There are also higher value level 2 items like the Small Bloom Punch available for free when you spend $120 (before shipping and taxes). There’s no limit to how many items you can earn, or how many of each item you can choose. It’s all based on the value of your order. Just one thing to remember though, stocks are limited, so the sooner you place your order and choose your free items the better.

A case in point is the Metallic Baker’s Twine and Sequin Combo Pack. Stampin’ Up! advised us today that stocks of this free item have run out and it is no longer available.
PRODUCT LIST
As the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set and Small Bloom Punch can only be selected once you have reached the qualifying order amount, I’ve added them to the end of my product list.
