It’s finally here! Today’s the day when customers can finally order from the bright new January to June 2020 Mini Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!. BRIGHT FLOWERS

I am simply in love with this bright hibiscus flower design from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. It’s also one of the 48 double-sided designs in the 6″ x 6″ sample pack that you get for free if you join Stampin’ Up! between now and March 31st.

I began by cutting off a 2-1/4″ strip from the 6″ x 6″ sheet and attached it to the flap of a Whisper White Medium Envelope with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow). Then with my Paper Snips I cut the DSP to shape, using the end of the flap as a guide.

Next I used my Paper Trimmer to cut and score some Thick Whisper White Card. I folded the card along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder to create my card base.

From the remaining DSP I cut a 3″ x 5-1/2″ piece and glued that to the front of my card base. Then I added a 1/4″ strip of Old Olive Card up against the edge of the DSP.

At this point I remembered that I needed to add the sentiment chosen from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set. So using Early Espresso ink I stamped it on the white area of my card base.

That just left a 3/4″ strip of the DSP that I cut down to 5-1/4″ long. With liquid glue I fixed the strip along the bottom of a layer of Whisper White Card. Then I added the layer to the inside of my card base and my project was complete.

NEW MINI CATALOGUE
