It’s Sunday, Mother’s Day here in Canada and I woke up knowing exactly what I was going to make. It was all going fine right up until I remembered I needed to print off a photo of myself with my daughter and granddaughter. It was only then I realised that I hadn’t yet received my delivery of printer ink. So while I can show you my project, you’ll have to imagine the photo in place.

PHOTO MAT
This photo frame project was really quick to put together.
I started with a piece of Thick Very Vanilla Card and the retiring Tea Together Stamp Set. Using Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the two verse sentiment onto the card towards the bottom.
Then using one of the dies from the new Ornate Layers set I cut out the card making sure to leave lots of space above the sentiment.
Next, using the Die Brush Attachment with the Take Your Pick tool I removed all the small pieces from the die cut layer. Then I fixed it to a layer of Seaside Spray Card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
All I have to do now (once I have my photo) is glue it in the space above the sentiment, and slide the layers back into the frame.
PRODUCT LIST
RETIRING PRODUCTS – The Tea Together Stamp Set is retiring and after May 22nd will only be available while stocks last. If you are interested, the coordinating Tea Time Dies are also retiring and significantly reduced in price. The dies are now only available while stocks last. Check the Last Chance section of my online store for these and all the other retiring products that are still available.
BUNDLE BONUS – I bought the new Ornate Layers Dies in a bundle with the Ornate Style Stamp Set. This meant I saved 10% off the cost of buying the two items separately. I’ve included a link to the bundle in case you want to explore this option.
The metal-edged frame sized for a 4″ x 6″ photo was purchased from Dollarama.
