For those of you who are not familiar with my papercrafting journey, you may not be aware that I’ve been a member of the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Design Team for almost 2 years. Each Monday we challenge ourselves and everyone else to create a project using at least one image from the featured Stampin’ Up! stamp set for that week. This week the challenge is WWYS167 – Apron of Love, with lots of kitchen and barbecue related images and some great sentiments.
As I sat down to create my project with a kitchen / cooking theme nothing was happening, my inspiration was out to lunch. Then a more ‘out of the box’ idea came to mind. So for my project I used the top of the whisk to inspire a floral card with foliage created from utensils I’d die-cut using the coordinating Apron Builder Framelits.
You can read more about how I actually created the card and the products used over on my old website in my blog post Flowers in the kitchen.
DON’T MISS FUTURE PAPERCRAFTING INSPIRATION
For the past couple of days I’ve posted my projects on both my old blog and this new one. I’ve done this so that my current readers and followers don’t miss anything and can have a chance to bookmark this new website and/or subscribe to my blog posts.
In a day or two I will stop posting my projects on my old blog and they will only be available here.
If you want to make sure you don’t miss my daily project inspiration the easiest way to do that is to subscribe to this blog. Simply complete the simple form and each morning you’ll receive an e-mail with a direct link to anything I’ve published in the previous 24 hours. You can read the post in your e-mail or click on the link to be taken directly to the post on this website where you’ll be able to see all the photos and embedded videos.
I hope you’ll visit me again soon
WOW! Love your new website/blog!!!
Thanks Carol, it’s still a work in progress, but I feel that if I don’t launch it this week I many never get around to it. More features will be added over the coming months as I learn some new skills.
Love your new blog!
Thanks Kate, glad to see you.
