It’s nearly time… Tomorrow is the final day of the Stampin’ Up! Last Chance Sale. Quite a few of the retiring products have already sold out, however there are still lots of great items to be had if you’re quick. While I’ll be sad to finally say goodbye to the July to December 2022 Mini Catalogue, I’m really looking forward to the launch of the January to April 2023 Mini. So today’s project brings you a sneak peek of the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and the coordinating Dainty Delight Dies.

DAINTY DAISIES
One of the first things I spotted in the Dainty Delight Dies was the sweet little daisy. In fact there’s two of them, one is the full daisy and the other creates a side-view version. As I placed my order for the Dainty Delight bundle I knew that my first project would have to feature these pretty flowers.
Today I began with some Polished Pink Card and die-cut four full daisies and four of the half daisies. Then from a scrap of So Saffron Card I cut the flower centres using a die that cuts two each of two slightly different shapes all at once. Finally I attached some Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Soft Succulent Card before die-cutting the delicate curved stem.
With all the pieces cut I added a light layer of coordinating ink to each one using Blending Brushes. The result is subtle but definitely adds something to the overall effect.
Finally I needed the tag base and for that I used my Paper Trimmer to cut a 3″ x 6″ piece of Soft Succulent Card. After using the scoring blade to score the card at 3″ I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
To turn the mini card into a tag I opened it up and slid it under the slot option of the Very Best Trio Punch. Then I slid the card over so the crease was just to the right of the centre line before punching the slot in the back of the tag.
USING IT ALL
Now I was ready to begin the tag and I started by layering the daisies using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow). To do this I stacked two matching die-cut flowers on top of each other so the lower petals peeked between the upper ones. Then on the open daises I also glued a circular So Saffron centre.
Now I turned my attention to the inside of the tag and cut a 2-5/8″ x 2-5/8″ piece of Basic White Card. Using a Blending Brush I added a very light layer of Starry Sky ink around the edge of the piece. Then I used liquid glue to fix one of the open flowers over the bottom right corner. After trimming the petals along the side and bottom edge I glued the layer inside the tag.

With that done I cut a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Basic White Card and brushed on a bolder layer of Starry Sky ink. Then from the coordinating Dainty Delight Stamp Set I chose the “Celebrate you” sentiment. After stamping it in the top right corner of my inked piece with Starry Sky ink I glued the layer onto the front of the tag.
DAINTY STEM
My original plan for the the curved die-cut stem had been to trim off the excess but then I had an interesting idea. However first I had to remove the backing from the Adhesive Sheet I’d attached to the card before die-cutting it. Then I used that adhesive to fix two of the leaves on top of the two half daisies I’d created. After adding a little liquid glue to the back of these flowers I began to press the stem onto the sentiment layer. Then I stopped and flipped everying over so I could add liquid glue to the back of the layer.
From there I mounted the main piece onto the tag front and continued to press the stem into place. However instead of trimming it off at the crease as planned I simply pressed it onto the back of the tag. That left one open daisy to add to the stem on the front of the tag using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Finally I cut some white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and tied it through the slot. At last my project was complete and although it took a little longer than planned I absoloutely love it!

This is just the sweetest! I love how you wrapped the stem around to the back. And that Daisy! I never even noticed it was part of the bundle, first looking through the new mini catalog. Once again, thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you Barb, I stacked two daisy pieces on each flower but the single layer is just as cute. This set of dies will certainly get a lot of use in my craft room.
This card is stunning Tracy. Love the stem reaching around the back and the two forms of daisies.
Thank you Kylie
