Stampin’ Up! have always been known for their amazing coordination, it’s what makes papercrafting using their products so easy. They’ve taken things up a notch in recent years though with their ‘product suites’. Now, as well as coordinating stamps, ink and paper, there’s other items too. So when I was looking for a new sentiment I turned to the Memories & More Card Packs.
The Memories & More range was quite deliberately named, it’s not just a memory keeping solution. The cards and stickers in the Card Packs are great for card-making too. To prove my point I chose a card with a “You Made My Day” sentiment and went on from there.

LAYERS OF GREEN
I began my project with a Thick Whisper White Card Base, onto which I fixed a layer of Soft Sea Foam Card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
Next I used liquid glue to attach a strip of Mossy Meadow Card to some Whisper White Card, and added that to the card base.
Finally with more liquid glue I mounted the 3″ x 4″ card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack onto some Whisper White Card.
Before adding the sentiment layer to the card base I wanted to add a little more interest. So I pulled out the coordinating Sailing Home Stamp Set.
ANCHORING THE SENTIMENT
Using Mossy Meadow ink I stamped the anchor image onto a piece of Thick Whisper White Card. Then I cut it out using the coordinating die from the Smooth Sailing Dies.

At this point I had a bit of a dilemma. The baker’s twine from the Come Sail Away suite coordinates with some of the other colours used (Night of Navy and Sahara Sand). But with everything else on my project in green, it looked a little odd. What to do?
I decided to take some Mint Macaron twine from the Nature’s Twine pack and colour it. In fact I coloured the twine using a light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends (alcohol marker). Now my twine looked the part and I tied it to the top of my die-cut anchor.
Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals I attached the anchor to the sentiment layer and secured the end of the twine to the back with Mini Glue Dots. Then I created a loop in the centre of the twine and fixed it in place with another Mini Glue Dot.
With the sentiment layer fully assembled I then added it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
That just left a few finishing touches.
Going back to the anchor image and Mossy Meadow ink, I stamped the image on the front of a Whisper White Medium Envelope. Then I stamped the same image in the bottom corner of a layer of Whisper White Card.
Finally I used liquid glue to add the stamped layer to the inside of the card base and I was done.
I really like how this card turned out. The Memories & More Card Pack has lots more sentiments that would be perfect for greetings cards. I have a feeling this won’t be the last project I make using these cards.
PRODUCT LIST
BUNDLE BONUS – I bought the Sailing Home Stamp Set and coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies using a single ‘bundle’ item number. That meant that I saved 10% off the cost of buying the two items separately. I’ve included both options in my product list so you can look at this in more detail.
