I’ve lots planned for today, but that’s OK as I usually have a simple project for you on a Sunday. I must say though that I nearly didn’t show you this one as although it’s gorgeous to look at, it’s so simple to make it’s positively embarrassing.
I took a short pillar candle (this one smells of cranberries!) and wrapped a piece from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper around the centre (vanilla side showing), trimmed it with Paper Snips so there was a slight overlap and secured it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
Then in the centre of each of the ‘flowers’ in the design I added a large Rhinestone Basic Jewel.
That’s all I did!
I have to say that I love this new laser-cut paper (which is more like card than paper), it’s hard not to make a stunning project when this is involved. If you missed my earlier sneak peek of this amazing product you’ll find it in my blog post Fancy that.
So what do you think, papercrafting or just a cheat?
How gorgeous! and how easy to make! Lovely! Thanks Tracy. I’m looking forward to someday soon getting my hands on this product too!
Thank you Geraldine
