With Christmas out of the way it’s time to start my sneak peeks projects. The Stampin’ Up! January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue is chock full of amazing new products. These have been available to Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators since the beginning of December and I treated myself to some of them. So for the next eight days I’ll bring you projects featuring a selection of these, just to whet your appetite. Today I have a quick project featuring the new Bragworthy Stamp Set.

GREAT FRIENDS
Do you have friends who are bragworthy? Do you share book recommendations and loan them your books? If so why not slip this fun bookmark inside to show them how much they are appreciated.
To make this bookmark I began with a 2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Cherry Cobbler Card. Then from the Bragworthy Stamp Set I chose the sentiment featuring five stars and the words “would recommend you as a friend”.
Using VersaMark ink I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the strip. Then I sprinkled the sticky ink with gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and tapped off the excess. After removing a few stray specks I melted the rest of the powder using my Heat Tool set on 2 (high).
To turn the strip into a bookmark I shaped the top and added a ribbon slot using the Fancy Tag Topper Punch. Then to finish I threaded some gold 3/8″ Fine Art Ribbon through the slot and secured it in place with a couple of Mini Glue Dots.
This really is a simple project but when I thought of how hotels and restaurants promote their five star status I realised that it’s always very uncluttered. The focus is always on those five stars and that’s what I wanted to achieve here.
BRAGWORTHY
The Bragworthy Stamp Set contains just six sentiments but in my opinion each one is a gem. As well as the five star sentiment there’s thank you, birthdays, and a supportive one too. They’re just not your typical phrasing and that’s what appealed to me. I know it will get a lot of use in my craft studio. Will the Bragworthy Stamp Set make it to your wish list? Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

This will certainly go on my wish list! Such fun sayings.
Thank you Karen, yes they make such a nice change from the usual sentiments.
