Of all the stamp sets in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue, Go To Greetings is the one I think is the most appropriately named. For me at least. It’s a 13 piece, sentiment only stamp set that has just five different sentiments. There’s a single small “hello”. Then the other 12 stamps are three each of “Happy Birthday”, “Thinking of You”, “Thank You” and “Just a note”. Each ‘set’ has the sentiment in three different sizes with a different font for each size. It truly is a ‘go to’ for me.

QUICK START
I designed this gender-neutral card as part of my recent ’24 cards in 24 hours’ challenge and so it needed to be quick. I decided right away to use Thick Very Vanilla Card for my A2 card base. After cutting and scoring the card, I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
Next, for my coordinating element I opted to use a rich Pretty Peacock coloured abstract background from the Earthen Elegance 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. So I began by cutting a 6″ x 6″ piece. This would be enough for the card front, the inside and also to decorate the envelope.
From the 6″ x 6″ piece I first cut a 2-1/4″ x 6″ strip. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I attached it to the flap of a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. Then with my Paper Snips I trimmed off the excess paper using the edge of the flap as a guide.
Going back to the DSP I then cut a 3/4″ x 6″ strip, and trimmed it to 5-1/4″ long. Using liquid glue again I fixed the strip along one long edge of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Very Vanilla Card. Then (with the fold at the top) I glued the assembled layer inside the card base so the DSP strip was at the bottom.
That just left a 3″ x 6″ piece of the DSP and I trimmed that to 3″ x 5-1/2″. The odd 1/2″ x 3″ scrap that was left would end up on another project at a later date. But for now I needed a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Pebbled Path Card. Then I glued the DSP on top leaving a 1/8″ border of card showing at the top and bottom.
THINKING OF YOU GREETINGS
At last I was ready for the sentiment and that’s when I reached for the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. From the three different sized “Thinking of you” stamps I chose the middle-sized one. Then using Pretty Peacock ink I stamped it onto a scrap of Thick Very Vanilla Card.
To add some simple interest I decided to cut out the sentiment using the smallest of the ‘oval’ dies in the Something Fancy Dies Set. Having done that I began to think about how the sentiment would fit on the card front.

It was at that point that I reached for the 2023-2025 In Color® Jute Trim pack. From the five colours I chose the Pebbled Path twine to coordinate with the mat layer under the DSP. After putting some Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the Pebbled Path Card I attached two lengths of twine across the middle of the assembled layer. Then using Stampin’ Dimensionals I mounted the twine wrapped piece across the centre of the card base.
That just left the sentiment, and using Stampin’ Dimensionals once again I fixed it over the twine on the centre of the card front. In minutes my card was complete and the Go To Greetings Stamp Set once again became the focal point.
Of all the stamp sets in my collection, Go To Greetings is one of the few that I’ll probably never get rid of. I can see it being a go-to for many years to come.
