I’m still working my way through new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Today I picked up the free Hello Cupcake Stamp Set and paired it with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.

I began with a piece of Very Vanilla Card and using Rich Razzleberry ink stamped the Sweet Wishes sentiment.
Then on some more Very Vanilla Card I stamped the cupcake base with Rich Razzleberry ink, after first stamping off onto scrap paper.
The next image I needed was the odd looking piece that I’ve noticed a lot of people leave out. Perhaps it’s because they’re not sure what it is… It fits on top of the cupcake base as unfrosted cake. I chose to champ it using Crumb Cake ink. What else?
Next came the frosting. I inked up the stamp with Mango Melody ink and stamped onto scrap paper. Then I stamped the frosting on the top of the cake. More Mango Melody ink was used to add the sprinkles, but this time I stamped them straight from the ink pad.
The cupcake was finished off with a sweet little heart, stamped using Rich Razzleberry ink.
STITCHED RECTANGLES
I was so excited when I saw the Rectangle Stitched Framelits in the Occasions Catalogue. There are 13 dies in the set. There’s a stubby rectangle all by itself, then four other rectangles that nest inside each other, then another set of 8 rectangles that nest together. I’ve labelled them A, B and C (Alone, Bigger and ‘C how many are in this group’).
Using my Big Shot and Magnetic Platform I cut out the sentiment using the #C1 die (counting from the smallest). Then I cut out the cupcake using #C5 die. Finally I cut out a layer of Rich Razzleberry Card using #C8 (the largest in that group).
SIMPLE ASSEMBLY
To assemble my project I first cut and scored a piece of Thick Very Vanilla Card using my Stampin’ Trimmer. Then I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder to create a card base.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to attach the Rich Razzleberry layer to the front of the card. Then I added the cupcake layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and finally the sentiment.
On a separate layer of Very Vanilla Card I stamped the heart image in the centre towards the top. Then this piece was fixed inside the card with liquid glue.
Once I’d stamped the heart in the centre of the flap on a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope I was done.
HELLO CUPCAKE
I really like how this project turned out, the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set is so sweet. It’s easy to stamp the various pieces too as it’s made from see-through photopolymer.
Sadly the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set is not available to purchase. The only way to get it is to place a qualifying order ($60 before shipping and taxes) and then choose it as your FREE Sale-A-Bration item. For this reason you’ll find the stamp set at the end of the product list below.

Cute card Tracy! I was one of those unsure about what to do with the extra shape, although I thought it might be the lower part of the cupcake. As it was I “lost it” when I wound up cutting the top off and popping it up … moved in too low on the cupcake I guess. Love the sentiments and the fonts. Glad you’re loving your Stitched Rectangles! Me too! TFS
Thank you Geraldine. I quite like these abstract shapes that appear in stamp sets, I end making all sorts of things with them.
