It’s the first Wednesday of the month and that means it’s time for another IDEAS blog hop. This month our theme is “That’s so suite of you”. The entire team have designed projects using not just coordinating stamps and dies (or punch), but other coordinating items too. Many of the team picked their favourite product suite from the January to April Mini Catalogue. Me? Well you know I like to be different, so my projects focus on the Sun Prints Suite from pages 90 and 91 of the Annual Catalogue.

SUN PRINTS
Sun Prints is the name of the suite and the name of the 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. For my blog project I began by choosing one of the subtle Gray Granite patterns. I cut the paper to 3″ x 5-1/2″, along with a 3-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White Card. Then using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I mounted the paper onto the card layer and set it aside.
Next I used my Paper Trimmer to cut and score some Night of Navy Card. After folding it along the scored line I sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder to create my card base. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals I then added the layered DSP into the front leaving an even border at each side.

NATURE’S PRINTS
Now I was ready for some stamping and from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set I took the large leafy image. First I used Night of Navy ink to stamp the image twice onto some Basic White Card. Then I cut out the images using the coordinating die from the Natural Prints Dies set. While I was there I also used the long leafy die to cut some Vellum Cardstock four times.
Going back to the large leafy stamp I stamped part of it in the bottom right-hand corner of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White Card. Then using liquid glue I fixed the layer inside my card base.
With that done I stamped part of the leafy image in the bottom right-hand corner on the front of a Basic White Medium Envelope.
All I needed now was my sentiment and I chose “you’re on my mind”. Still using Night of Navy ink I stamped it onto a scrap of Basic White Card. Then to cut it out I turned to the new Something Fancy Dies. From that set I took the two smallest of the rectangular dies. Using the smallest one I cut out my sentiment, while I used the slightly larger one to cut some Night of Navy Card.

At last I was ready to complete the card front and started by attaching the die-cut stamped leaves and vellum pieces using liquid glue. Then I used liquid glue to mount the sentiment onto the die-cut Night of Navy layer. Finally I added the assembled sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and my card was done.
I was having so much fun I immediately made two more cards and a 3D item for the exclusive tutorial bundle.
LOTS MORE SUITE IDEAS
So let me tell you a little more about this month’s IDEAS Tutorial Bundle. The February “That’s So Suite Of You” PDF contains an amazing 90 pages featuring 44 projects from 15 different designers. There’s cards, plus lots of other projects for every taste and ability using a variety of current products from Stampin’ Up! The collage below provides a little sneak peek of what’s inside. I wonder if you can spot parts of the three projects I contributed to this bumper bundle.

If you’d like a copy of the Tutorial Bundle for your own personal use, or even to use in your classes, there are three different ways to get it:
- Place an order via my online store for $45CAD (before shipping and taxes) using my February 2023 Host Code NCDUSPP4. Make sure to allow Stampin’ Up! to share your contact details so I can e-mail the tutorial to you. If your order is over $200CAD don’t use the Host Code or you’ll miss out on Stampin’ Rewards. However, so long as I have access to your contact details I’ll still send you the PDF.
- Join Stampin’ Up! and my Crafty Canadians team, and you’ll get this IDEAS tutorial for free.
- Buy the tutorial. Contact me at tutorials@papercraftwithme.com for more information.
Once you’ve received the bundle, please remember not to share or distribute printed or electronic copies of the tutorials. We’ve worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your personal use. If you know someone who would like to purchase the tutorial bundle, please direct them to me to obtain their own copy. Thank you for your support.
So that’s it from me for today, but please visit MaryKate Scott on the next leg of the blog hop by clicking on the ‘NEXT’ button below.
PRODUCT LIST
In the table below you will find links to all the products used to make the card shown here on my blog today. A complete list of products used on the three projects I created for this month’s IDEAS Tutorial Bundle is included in that PDF.
BUNDLE BONUS – I bought the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set in a bundle with the Natural Prints Dies. Buying these products using a single ‘bundle’ item number saved me 10% off the cost of buying the same two items separately. I’ve included links for both options below in case you want to explore these further.
Also available in a discounted bundle is the Something Fancy Dies with the Something Fancy Stamp Set (not used today). I’ve included a link to that bundle below too if you’re interested.
