I have lots of congratulations stamps and others for various special occasions, but sometimes they’re not quite what I want. Sometimes I want to acknowledge an achievement that doesn’t fit into a defined category. That’s why I was delighted to get the Incredible Like You Stamp Set.
This stamp set is designed to coordinate with the Incredible Like You Project Kit on page 21 of the Occasions Catalogue. It has 15 photopolymer (see-through) stamps including 4 fairly large sentiments. For today’s ‘achievement’ card I chose ‘incredibly proud of you’.

INCREDIBLE LIKE YOU
I began this card with a layer of Very Vanilla Card and a Shaded Spruce ink pad.
From the Incredible Like You Stamp Set I first took the leafy stem image and stamped it towards the bottom right corner. Then repeated this twice more. Next I inked up the image with the separated leaves and immediately stamped it onto scrap paper. This is known as ‘stamping off’.
Then, lining up the leaves over one of the darker leafy stems I stamped this lightened shade. This is known as two-step stamping.
Once I’d stamped the lightened leaves on the other two stems I moved onto the flowers. I started by using Crumb Cake ink to stamp three leafless stems among my leaves. Then I stamped the small flower image at the end of each branch with Lovely Lipstick ink. In no time at all I had a really pretty flower arrangement.
Finally using Shaded Spruce ink I stamped the ‘incredibly proud of you’ sentiment in the centre of the layer.
SIMPLE ACCENTS
To add a little extra accent, I wrapped a length of the Very Vanilla/Copper ribbon from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack around the stamped piece. Then I secured it on the back using Mini Glue Dots.

Next I tied a small bow from the same ribbon and fixed it to the front with another Mini Glue Dot. Finally I mounted the stamped layer to a layer of Shaded Spruce Card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
For my card base I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score a piece of Thick Very Vanilla Card. Then I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder. Finally, using liquid glue, I fixed the assembled layers to the front.
PROJECT COORDINATION
I love decorating the envelopes and inside of my cards to coordinate with the front. A slightly smaller version of my stamped floral arrangement would be perfect for this.
In the bottom right corner of a layer of Very Vanilla Card I stamped just two of the two-toned leafy stems. Next I stamped two bare stems and added 5 flowers. Then the layer was fixed to the inside of the card base with liquid glue.
Once I’d repeated the same smaller arrangement on the front of a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope I was done.
I really like how this project turned out and especially the contrast between the dark leaves and the bright flowers. What do you think?
Love the flowers on this and the colours are just magic together
Thank you Danielle. Like many smaller stamps, those flowers can be easily overlooked, which is sad because they’re a really pretty shape.
