There’s lots to talk about today. First, today’s the day to place your $65+ order if you want to get free shipping. Everything in the Annual and Holiday Catalogues, plus the Clearance Rack, Retiring List and non-catalogue items are included. It’s the perfect time to get that Christmas gift for Santa to leave under the tree for you (wink, wink).
If you need a gift tag, here’s one I made earlier. In fact it’s a gift tag on a gift, on a gift tag for you to add to your gift!

GIFT FIRST
I began my tag with a piece of 3″ x 6″ Thick Whisper White Card scored on the long side at 3″. I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder. Then using the oval hole option on the Detailed Trio Punch I punched a hole on one side of the crease. This would be the back of my tag.
Next I cut a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of paper from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper Pack. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I added this to the front of the tag base.
For the ‘ribbon’ I turned to the Nobel Peacock Foils Sheets. I found some scraps of the Old Olive foil and cut a couple of strips 1/8″ x 2-3/4″. Then using liquid glue I added these to my gift.
TAG AND BOW
With my ‘gift’ done, I just needed to add a tag and a bow and for that I turned to products from the Annual Catalogue.

Using Old Olive ink I stamped the tiny “for you” sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set onto a scrap of Thick Whisper White Card. Then I cut it out using the tiny tag die from the coordinating Bouquet Bunch Dies.
While I had the dies in front of me I also cut a bow from a scrap of the Old Olive foil.
To complete my gift on a tag I tied a small piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine to my tiny tag. Then I added it to the ‘gift’ with a dot of liquid glue. The foil bow was fixed over the top with pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally I tied some Whisper White Baker’s Twine to the bigger tag and I was done.
This is a great way of using up odd scraps of DSP, foil (and actual ribbon if you want). It’s also very quick to do, which is perfect when you find yourself needing a few extra tags at short notice.
PAPER PUMPKIN PLEASURE
Did you know that starting today you can subscribe for the first Paper Pumpkin kit of 2020? That seems crazy, but it’s true!

The January kit features flowers and bees and I predict it will sell out before January 11 when the subscription period is due to close.
The “I’ll Bee Yours” kit will contain everything you need to make 20 treat packages, plus ten 3″ x 3″ cards with envelopes! The kit could be used for Valentine’s treats, but it’s not designed just for Valentines. Use it to send feelings of love to anyone and everyone.
One other very interesting fact is that the kit will coordinate with a couple of new punches from the January to June Mini Catalogue that goes live on January 3rd. The Heart Punch Pack (two large punches) can be found on page 10. If you’ve shopped with me over the past year your complimentary Mini catalogues are already in the mail to you.
If you live in Canada and don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I’ll be happy to send a catalogue to you too. Just contact me to be added to my catalogue mailing list.
Now I’m off to play in my craft studio for a couple of hours. Whatever you have planned, I hope you are able to find some crafting time for yourself as well.
