I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, papercrafting makes me happy. It’s not one big thing, it’s all the little things. Whether it’s meeting new people or re-connecting with old friends. Learning a new skill or teaching others. I simply love what I do. Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I realise I’ve been blogging about my crafting for almost 6 years. During that time I’ve been able to connect with people from all over the world, which is simply amazing.
Every time I see how many people have read my blog, or liked a Facebook post I am thankful. I am eternally grateful to everyone who is able to take a minute to leave a comment, like a post, or subscribe. Thank you. To those of you who have chosen me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I truly appreciate your business. To my readers, my customers and my team members, I hope I can continue to inspire you as you continue to follow your own creative path.

THE LITTLE THINGS
Today I just wanted to make something quick and easy, as a possible precursor to a larger project. So I decided on a simple bookmark using stamps from the Make A Splash (Host) Stamp Set.
I began by cutting a 2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Card and shaped one end using the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Then using Pear Pizzazz ink I stamped the “It’s the little things” sentiment along the bottom.
Next came the three goldfish, one of each fish image in the set, stamped using Grapefruit Grove ink. Then I finished my stamping with three sets of bubbles in Pool Party ink.
To complete the bookmark I folded some Grapefruit Grove 1/8″ Grosgrain ribbon in half. Then I threaded the loop through the hole, passed the cut ends through the loop and pulled to secure the ribbon in place.
In next to no time my sweet and simple bookmark was complete.
I love these fish images, there’s something about them that just makes me smile. What about you?
PRODUCT LIST
STAMPIN’ REWARDS – The Make A Splash Stamp Set is an exclusive host set that can only be obtained using Stampin’ Rewards ‘dollars’. These are earned as a percentage of your order before shipping and taxes, once it reaches $200. There are a number of ways to reach that magic threshold and the traditional way is by hosting a workshop or home party.
Alternatively if it’s hard to pin down a date when all your friends can attend, you could host an online party instead. Other ways you could reach the minimum $200 mark is by placing a large order yourself, or by combining your order with orders from your friends. Whatever route you choose, once you’ve earned your Stampin’ Rewards you can spend them on anything from Stampin’ Up!, including special ‘host’ stamp sets.

If you want to save even more on your craft supplies, why not join Stampin Up! and use your Stampin’ Rewards toward the cost of your Starter Kit. Right now is the best time to join with a free mini guillotine trimmer and paper sample pack included in the kit for free. There’s lots of information about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator on my Join Stampin’ Up! page. If you have questions that I don’t answer there, just ask.
