Today’s Sunday so that means it’s time for another Simple Sunday project. I’ve been doing this for quite a few years now and am always looking for fresh ideas to suggest to you. A Simple Sunday project might be a simple layout, or using a very simple technique. Today’s project is a real time-saver using the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack.
I began by selecting the 3″ x 4″ patterned card from the pack. According to the box the colours used are Mint Macaron and Grapefruit Grove. I decided to cut a mat for the card from Mint Macaron Card and layer them together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
On the front of the patterned piece I then added a laser-cut ‘just a note’ sticker from the same Memories & More Card Pack. These sticker sheets are much thicker than paper stickers, and make perfect accents.
Next I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score some Grapefruit Grove Card. I folded the card along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder to create the card base. Then I fixed my assembled layers to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside of the card I then used liquid glue to attach another 3″ x 4″ card from the pack. This card has ruled lines and a ‘just because’ sentiment at the top which is perfect to line the card.
Also on the card liner was a little flourish design printed in Grapefruit Grove. I found the same flourish image in the coordinating Detailed With Love Stamp Set. So finished off my project by stamping the flourish onto the flap of a Whisper White Medium Envelope using Grapefruit Grove ink.
Super quick and easy, and perfect for a Simple Sunday don’t you think?

The Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack is just one of 4 different sets in the Stampin’ Up! 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue. You can get a good idea of the contents of these packs from this Stampin’ Up! video.
Historically it seems that the Memories & More Card Packs have a short shelf life. This means that I suspect that all four of the packs in the current Annual Catalogue are likely to be on the Retiring List on April 15th. Likewise the Happiness Blooms Card Pack in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I think the Memories & More Card Packs offer tremendous value, so do take a look at these hidden gems.
