Returning to my theme of getting the most out of my pretty paper, today’s project is one that really does have year-round appeal. The starry patterns in the O Holy Night 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack are definitely not just for Christmas. So as part of last month’s ‘24 cards in 24 hours’ marathon I created this card with a simple angled layer. The “you are so kind” sentiment is from the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set. This is another set that works well without the coordinating ... VIEW POST

Cosy Autumn Evenings
It’s cold. You know I always wonder why it is that when the temperature falls close to the freezing mark it feels colder than later in the season when it could be minus 10C. Perhaps it’s just a case of getting used to it. Still it does give me an excuse to curl up in a comfy chair with a good book or two. So there’s no prize for guessing my all-time favourite pattern from the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack and what I’d do with it. RICH AUTUMN COLOURS This project ... VIEW POST

Trucking Along Again
While I love buying patterned paper for specific occasions I don’t like the leftovers once an event is done. That’s why I always look for other ways to use the paper I buy. Take the O Holy Night 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) for instance... it was designed to coordinate with the Night Divine Stamp Set and dies to create Christmas cards with a religious theme, but I discovered that it’s also great for masculine cards, especially when combined with the Trucking Along Stamp Set and builder ... Autumn In Name Only
If you’ve been waiting for the All About Autumn 6” x 6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to be restocked, you’re in luck. However as with previous deliveries it may still not be enough to keep up with the demand. So it seems I’m consistently juggling my projects around this issue. Today therefore I’ve a simple gender-neutral card created during my recent 24 cards in 24 hours marathon. This one was designed to be an all-season card showing off the gorgeous copper foil patterns on the back of ... VIEW POST

Brightest Glow & Snowflakes
From unseasonably warm to more like what we expect here in Nova Scotia at the end of October. We spent the weekend working in the garden getting it ready for the long winter ahead. We have snow forecast for today into tomorrow, and that inspired this card using the Beary Christmas 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP). With only 8 weeks to the big day it’s time to ramp up that Christmas crafting, and today it was back in with the old (but still available) Brightest Glow Stamp Set. QUARTER ... VIEW POST

Meadow Views
Only a few days left in October and the temperature has suddenly taken a dive here in Nova Scotia. There’s even the threat of a little snow in the forecast over the coming days! So while I head to the closet to pull out some warmer clothes, here’s a touch of spring for this month’s Share It Sunday blog hop. If you don’t recognise the paper that’s because it’s being added to the Online Exclusives range on November 6th. Called “Meandering Meadows”, this 6” x 6” paper pack is gorgeous! JUST ... VIEW POST
