Altered Christmas Cards
Oh my goodness I have such a busy day ahead of me I barely have time to breathe. So this blog post is going to have to be super quick. Today’s Christmas project is an alternative idea using the October 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit called “Home for the Holidays”. Autumn Patience
One very popular, if not the most popular item in the Stampin’ Up! September to December 2023 Mini Catalogue has been the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP). It seems like no matter how much they buy, we’re snatching it off the shelves. Mind you can they blame us? The 6” x 6” pack of paper has the most gorgeous autumn images that really need no embellishment. And on the reverse are sumptuous designs complete with copper foil accents. Sincere & Heartfelt
Once upon a time I used to skip past sentiment-only stamp sets. I’m not sure that was entirely intentional, but rather that they didn’t catch my eye the way sets with images did. Now though I’ve learned that sentiment-only sets like So Sincere have a lot of potential. Without any images to influence me I feel much less guilty mixing and matching my stamp sets. So much so that I’ll happily take images from one set, like Heartfelt Hexagon and combine it with whatever sentiment suits the project ... VIEW POST
Rustic Pumpkins & More
One of the things that originally attracted me to the Rustic Crate Stamp Set was the pretty images. I’ve always been a sucker for poinsettias, but this set had a gorgeous autumn arrangement of pumpkins, sunflowers and corn-cobs. Heartfelt Kitchen Idea
With Thanksgiving now out of the way here in Canada it’s time to look forward to the next big food event. So for me that means Christmas. Every year I say I’ll be better prepared and every year there’s always a last minute panic. However when I saw the new Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set a simple idea popped into my head.
