Last month I showed you part of something I was working on, but there was much more to do before I was ready to show you the finished project. Well today’s the day. I’ve been putting together a sampler using a number of stamp sets and here’s what I ended up with.

SECTION BY SECTION
If I’d left this project to the end to explain it to you, this would have been the longest post I’ve ever written. Instead, I’ll link back to earlier posts where I’ve already shown you how I made individual sections.
But first some overall details. The background is a piece from the Floral Romance 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack.
Next, I created all the sections using just two card colours, Powder Pink which is retiring, and Whisper White. I cut the large panels using #C7 and #C8 dies from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. These are the two largest dies in the entire set of 13.
I wanted to create a soft look to the finished sampler so stamped all the sentiments with Smoky Slate ink. Finally, as this was going under glass I fixed all the parts together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
TOP RIGHT
I stamped the L, O, V and E from the Letters for You Stamp Set using Powder Pink ink. Then I cut them out with the coordinating Large Letters Dies.

The centre sentiment ‘You make me happy’ is from the Meant To Be Stamp Set. I cut the sentiment out using the #1 square from the Stitched Shapes Dies. The mat was then cut using the #2 square die from the same set.
‘Together is a wonderful place to be’ is from the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set. This one was cut using the #B2 Stitched Rectangles Die with the mat cut using #B3. (Group B is the group of 4 nesting dies in this set, and I number the dies in each group starting from the smallest).
BOTTOM RIGHT
If you’re thinking that the panel in the bottom right corner of the sampler looks familiar, you’d be correct.

A few days ago I showed you a card using that very panel. What I didn’t tell you then was that the panel and sentiment weren’t permanently fixed. So after I’d finished my blog, I took everything apart and used the panel for this sampler.
You’ll find all the details for this floral panel in my blog post Say It Isn’t Snow.
BOTTOM LEFT
The bottom left corner is another design I’ve played with before. In fact I used the overlapping hearts on a card in my blog post Finding Clouds in Watercoloured Backgrounds.

TOP LEFT
This was the piece I told you last month was going to be part of a larger project. So we’ve quite literally come full circle.

All the details for this panel are in my blog post An Unfinished Project For #WWYS212.
So there we have it. My sampler is finally finished. I don’t do these very often but I’m so pleased with how it turned out. I hope you like it too.
