Well here we are, with my final sneak peek from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue. Starting at 6am AT tomorrow you’ll be able to begin ordering from the new catalogue. I’m really looking forward to seeing whether your favourites are the same as mine. Today’s project is a #simplestamping Christmas card with a scene created using the new Snow Front Stamp Set.

SIMPLE SCENE
This winter scene was really quick and easy to put together on Whisper White Card. #Simplestamping at its best.
I began with the mountain image and Smoky Slate ink. After inking up the stamp I ‘stamped-off’ onto scrap paper then stamped over the right side of the layer. Then I reinked the stamp, stamped off again and stamped a little lower down on the left.
Next I turned to the three different sized single fir trees. Each one was inked up with Mossy Meadow ink, then stamped off before being added to the scene.
Finally I stamped the image of the pair of deer using Gray Granite ink.
To add a little winter magic I ‘painted’ over the snow on the ground and mountains using a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

SEASONS GREETINGS
For the “Seasons greetings” sentiment I went back to another new stamp set, Peaceful Boughs. Using Mossy Meadow ink I stamped it in the space above the mountains and my card front was complete.
For my card base I chose Gray Granite Card and used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to fix the completed scene to the front.
That just left the inside and the envelope for me to coordinate.
I went back to the three fir trees and after stamping off onto scrap paper stamped them on a layer of Whisper White Card. Next I stamped the trees on the front of a Whisper White Medium Envelope. Then like the card front, I added the twin deer image using Gray Granite ink.
Once I’d fixed the stamped Whisper White layer inside the card base my first Snow Front project was complete
SNOW FRONT
You may have the feeling you’ve seen a similar stamp set from Stampin’ Up! The Waterfront Stamp Set, is similar but with different elements that make this new Snow Front Stamp Set even more versatile. If you love Waterfront, I know you’re going to love Snow Front too.

Well that’s the end of my sneak peeks from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. Do let me know your favourites.
PRODUCT LIST
In the list below you’ll find all the Stampin’ Up! products used on my Snow Front project. Although I didn’t use the Beautiful Boughs Dies today you’ll notice that I have included a link to the bundle. This is because you might prefer to buy the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set along with the coordinating dies. In which case make sure you do so using that single bundle item number. That way you’ll save 10% on the cost of getting them separately.
Oh and if you’ve been thinking about ordering Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue, DON’T! Well not today at least. Starting tomorrow we have a Buy 3 get 1 free promotion on selected 12″ x 12″ DSP. Make sure you check tomorrow’s blog post for all the details.
Very nice, Tracy! I’m betting a lot of people are going to have a lot of fun with this stamp set! Curious to know which stamp sets in the new catalogue are going to be the runaway favourites this year! Any predictions?
Thank you Geraldine. Hmm not sure what’s going to be a runaway, but maybe Toile Christmas (cardinals are a very popular non-religious Christmas image), or possibly Snowman Season. I suspect the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack could be the most popular item overall. It might even end up on backorder so I’m recommending to all my customers that they put this right at the top of their wish list.
Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing how you made this!
Thank you Michelle, I’m so glad you like it.
