The lurgy that’s going around has finally got me and I’m currently dosed up with medication. So for today’s project I needed to find something that I could put together really quickly. If you’re a regular follower of my blog you’ll remember a box decorated using the new Petal Park Stamp Set and coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch. After finishing that project I had a few pieces left over. Today I decided that with a pretty box to gift, I could use those pieces to create a birthday gift ... VIEW POST
Brushstroke Paper Is Lightweight
If you saw yesterday’s blog post you’ll know that project happened as a follow-on from something else I’d made. Then it was the ink colour used on a bookmark that inspired the subsequent card. Well obviously there must be something in the air as today’s project follows on from that! This time it was the He’s All That Stamp Set I used yesterday that inspired today’s project. So with the coordinating All That Dies and gorgeous Brushstroke 12” x 12” Specialty Paper this is what I finally came up ... VIEW POST
Splendid Day For A Sneak Peek
It may only be Tuesday but it already feels like it’s been a very long week. I’m so tired and wonder if I’m coming down with something. So for today’s sneak peek I created a get well card featuring the Splendid Day 12” x 12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). On one side of each sheet are simple, printed designs that are great for card layers. He’s All That Reinvented
Do you find yourself caught in a creative trap when working with stamp sets that have coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP)? I know I do. It’s like once I’ve seen the images in one colour palette I’m unable to un-see it. Then every time I use the stamps I gravitate to those same colours even if I’m not using the DSP. Today however I decided to be strong and try something completely different with the He’s All That Stamp Set. After a little play I ended up with this card. BASICALLY ... VIEW POST
Classic Man Card
After a run of flowers, animals and birds I decided that it was time for something a little more masculine. Other papercrafters often tell me that making cards and gifts for the man in their life is incredibly challenging. I’m not immune to this either. Some projects are easier than others and I specifically look out for products that will help me. So buying the stamp set, dies, paper and embellishments in the He’s The Man Suite Collection was a bit of a no-brainer. This birthday card uses it ... VIEW POST
Magnet Board Masculine Makeover
Today is going to be one of those days when I get very little done. I woke up with backache and it’s making it hard to concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes at a time. So I’ll take some painkillers and not put too much pressure on myself to get things done. Hopefully it will ease up as the day wears on, but in the meantime I wanted to show you something I’ve been working on... It’s a masculine makeover for the Celebrate Today Magnet Board Kit. If you saw my original post about ... VIEW POST
