Ok I admit it. When I first saw the Brightest Glow Stamp Set I decided I didn’t need it. But every time I flicked through the Stampin’ Up! July to December Mini Catalogue I found myself pausing on page 30 and 31. I immediately bought and love the Lights Aglow paper, the ribbon and the festive pearls. But I finally gave in and got the Brightest Glow Stamp Set and coordinating Labels Aglow Dies. It’s designed as a “Christmas” stamp set but that wasn’t the theme of my first project. BRIGHTEST ... Celebrate Later
It’s Tuesday. It’s still raining. I have a huge list of things to accomplish today. But am I sad,? Oh no. That’s because, after getting held up in Quebec for a few days my recent orders are due to be delivered. There’s some staples (card and adhesives) but also some new products from the Annual Catalogue for me and some local customers. Plus I’ll also receive products pre-ordered from the July To December Mini Catalogue. It’s definitely a day to celebrate. But first, a birthday card for you to ... VIEW POST
A Different Kind Of Easter Chick
Happy Easter everyone. It's a beautiful spring day here where I'm staying in the south of England, and hopefully where you are too. GOOD LUCK CHICK The Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set has four sentiments, four chick images plus an image of seeds and worms. Each sentiment can work with several of the images ... VIEW POST
Special Someone For Some Heal-ium
Today's project is another from my 2020 World Cardmaking Day personal challenge that I haven't yet shown you. This get well card has a very simple layout with a punny sentiment from the Special Someone Stamp Set. To add interest I used the coordinating Special Day Dies and also the Balloon Bouquet Punch. SUBTLE LAYERS This project was really all about the two-part sentiment, so I decided to keep the rest of card quite subtle. I began by using my Paper Trimmer to cut and score a ... VIEW POST
A Simple But Punny Get Well Card
It's that time of year when lots of people seem to be unwell and get well cards are in demand. Today's Simple Sunday project is a quick any easy design with a clever pun on the inside. SIMPLE BALLOON IMAGE I began this get well card with the Special Someone Stamp Set and Pretty Peacock ink pad. First I stamped the balloon outline onto a small piece of Very Vanilla Card, then I stamped the string. Next I inked up the solid balloon image but then 'stamped off' onto some scrap paper. ... Better Belated Than Never
After spending a lovely couple of weeks driving through the US and attending Stampin' Up! OnStage Live in Orlando, Florida, I'm now back home and keen to get crafting. It will take a while to get back into my routine, and in case I missed something I thought this belated card was quite appropriate. It's the perfect card for a simple Sunday project. WATERCOLORED INKS I love colouring and have been using Stampin' Blends an awful lot lately. For today's project I decided to watercolour ... VIEW POST
