Although it's dull and rainy here in Nova Scotia, today I'm enjoying looking at the bright green grass that now surrounds our property. It seems like forever since it turned brown for the winter. I love that the garden is finally awakening, and it inspired me to create a sweet anniversary card showcasing some more retiring products. The Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set has been around for a few years so I'm kind of OK with losing that. What I can't believe is that the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing ... VIEW POST

There's lots to talk about today. First, today's the day to place your $65+ order if you want to get free shipping. It's the perfect time to get that Christmas gift for Santa to leave under the tree for you (wink, wink). If you need a gift tag, here's one I made earlier. Love You To Pieces for WWYS223
This week the What Will You Stamp Challenge is WWYS223 - Love You To Pieces. It's a fun set with puzzle images and sentiments and it coordinates with the Puzzle Pieces Dies. Of course that's a bit obvious for me, so I thought I'd make something different for my Design Team project. Today I chose the chrysanthemum image from the Love You To Pieces Stamp Set. I had a feeling that the curve of the stem would work well as a circular image and I wasn't wrong. I began with a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" ... VIEW POST
Delightful Triple Layer Tag
Do you ever have days where things don't exactly go according to plan? I seem to have had a run of several in a row. So in an effort to get back on track my very late blog post will be shorter than usual. That said, the sun is shining and it's actually warm, so I was inspired to create this pretty floral gift tag. TRIPLE TAG BASE My triple tag base was really easy to make using the new Delightful Tag Topper Punch. This punch has three channels designed to feed a 1", 1-1/2" or 2" ... VIEW POST
Happy (whatever) Anniversary
I've made a lot of gift tags over the years. Probably most of them were for Christmas, closely followed by birthdays. What I don't think I've made very often is a tag for an anniversary. Of course when you think of anniversary you probably think of wedding anniversary, but there are others too. Anniversary of when you met, or got a new job, or moved house. The anniversary list could be endless. So here's my gift tag for a million different occasions. THE TAG BASE I began with a ... VIEW POST
Beautiful Sentiment Simple Colours
When I look back at my recent personal challenge to create 24 cards in 24 hours I'm very happy with the variety of projects I designed. Today's project is a favourite possibly because of the beautiful sentiment, but also because of the embossing. In fact these two types of embossing really makes a simple layout into something quite elegant. MONOCHROME BACKGROUND I began by using my Stampin' Trimmer to cut and score a piece of Thick Very Vanilla Card. Then I folded it along the scored ... VIEW POST
