I must apologise for the late arrival of today's blog post. Today is obviously going to be one of those days where things take that much longer to get done. What's frustrating is that my birthday card project was done and photographed yesterday. But I've not been nearly as efficient this morning. In my defence I've had long video chat with my daughter and twin 9-month old grandbabies, and taken the garbage to the end of the drive in the snow. One very enjoyable distraction and the other, ... Elegantly Said For A Simple Sunday Card
So the several inches of snow that fell earlier this week has all gone thanks to Mother Nature and a deluge overnight. I love it when we don't have to shovel the white stuff off the driveway. The plus 14C on the thermometer is also a welcome change from the minus 13C we saw just a few days ago too. It hardly seems possible that two weeks from today Christmas will be over. So for today's simple Sunday project I wanted to bring you something more spring-like. This card, featuring the ... VIEW POST
Delivering Cheer For A Little Longer

But other times I find fun new combinations as I combine older sets with newer ones. Today's simple Sunday card project is a case in point. Lighthearted Lines has some great fun sentiments but one in particular stood out and I knew exactly where to find an appropriate image. So out ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing – Gifts Galore
Once again my Paper Pumpkin kit has provided hours of fun, this time with the November kit called "Gifts Galore". It's designed to make 9 large treat packages but today I have something different in mind. So here's two more alternate projects for you as I join this month's A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. Enjoy. PRESENTS GALORE Both my alternate projects involve cutting up the large printed pieces designed as the front and back of the packages. For my first project I have an idea for ... VIEW POST
Hand-Penned Birthday Reminder
With all the focus now on Christmas (and Thanksgiving in the US) it's easy to forget that other reasons to send cards doesn't stop. People are still getting engaged and married, having babies and celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, retirement and more. So today I decided to bring you a floral birthday card using pretty Hand-Penned paper. PRETTY PENNED FLOWERS I actually created this card as part of my 24 cards in 24 hours challenge marking World Card Making Day last month. If you ... VIEW POST
