The past few days have been both frustrating and amazing. I didn’t publish a blog post yesterday which is very unusual for me. On Thursday I'd booked to go whale watching in the Bay of Fundy with my granddaughter who’s visiting from the UK. Unfortunately we broke down before we made it to Brier Island causing us to miss our trip. However due to some wonderful people we met on Long Island, NS, we made onto a later sailing. As a result, we had to stay the night in a hotel before making the long ... VIEW POST
The Power Of Prayer
In the Fresh As A Daisy 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack there are a couple of sheets made up of small panels. I know I’ve mentioned it before and used a number of the panels on various projects. My favourite is definitely the small summer scene. However I’ve been determined to make the most of this and I’m not afraid to chop it up. So today I decided to make this prayer journal for a very special friend using the two small sky scraps I had left. I began with a spiral bound ... VIEW POST
Mostly Mauve

Cane Weave
As so often happens when a new catalogue comes out, I’ve been neglecting some of my other toys. While I’m sure no one can blame for having fun with new Stampin’ Up! products, it does make me feel a little guilty. That’s why I’ve been revisiting some older (but still available) items like the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and Labels Aglow Dies. Of course I couldn’t resist pairing them with a new stamp set. There’s something about the font used for the Layering Leaves sentiments that I simply ... VIEW POST
Daisies In The Dark
Back last December when I first saw the Dainty Delight Dies I knew that I needed them in my collection. What originally attracted my attention were the small daisy-shaped dies, but then I saw the gorgeous curved stem and I was smitten. Fast forward six months and I definitely don’t regret that purchase. The leafy stem is useful in so many ways, but today it was different daisy images that inspired me. These came courtesy of the new Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set and coordinating dies (another ... VIEW POST

At last it’s January 5th and the Stampin’ Up! January to April Mini Catalogue is live for customers. Also starting today is the annual Sale-A-Bration promotion where you can earn exclusive free products with every qualifying order. So here I wanted to bring together all my sneak peek projects in one place, and finally include links to the wonderful new ... VIEW POST
