And just like that it’s the last weekend of March. Still far too cold (minus 11C this morning) but signs of spring are definitely out there. Yesterday I attended a small Demonstrator only event and had a chance to to see and play with some of the new Stampin’ Up! products. But before the May to September 2026 Catalogue launches we’ll have to say goodbye to some older products. So for my project today I created this bookmark using the Choose Happy Stamp Set which I think will be retired. I ... VIEW POST

Choose Happy Today
Four weeks today will be Easter Sunday and it’s another occasion where treats play a big part. So for my Simple Sunday project this week I decided to revisit a quick and easy way to wrap small treats. Why it’s called a ‘sour cream container’ is beyond me, but if you’re in a hurry or can’t be bothered with complicated scoring or cutting this could be the solution you need. The sweet bunny and “happy Easter” sentiment I used to decorate the package are from the Choose Happy Stamp Set. It's ... VIEW POST
Choose Happy
It’s officially spring and I’m loving the lighter evenings, even if the thermometer hasn’t yet caught up. So now her flights from the UK are booked, we’re planning for our eldest granddaughter’s 3 week visit in the summer. Meanwhile here’s a simple bookmark I created recently using the Choose Happy Stamp ... VIEW POST

So today I decided to create a bright and cheerful bookmark using the 2024-2026 In Colors®. These are Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock. Rather than a complicated floral image I kept things really simple and selected a flower and leaf stamp from the Choose Happy Stamp Set. Then armed with black ink and Stampin’ Blends I set to work. Frames Waste Is Useful
One of the first items to catch my eye in the Stampin’ Up! 2024/2025 Annual Catalogue was the Frames and Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Unlike most of their 12” x 12” DSP packs this one contains only six sheets. Three of these are printed on both sides. However the remaining three are single-sided but printed with floral frames and individual pieces that simply pop out of the sheet. Of course I couldn’t resist using a couple of the ‘waste’ pieces to create this pretty ... VIEW POST
