So my garden remains buried under mounds of snow, although at least we can now get down the drive. Yesterday's dreary grey sky has given way to beautiful clear blue, and if I stay inside I can even imagine it's spring. It's days like these that make me grateful for the flowers in my craft studio. This morning I couldn't resist pulling out the Sale-A-Bration Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (DSP) once again. This time I was drawn to an itty bitty flower design, and for my sentiment? ... When In Doubt Add A Pretty Cover
As a papercrafter it's so easy to make everyday things pretty. I'm also very keen to use every scrap of paper and card that I buy. Waste not want not, eh. So when I came across a very boring 1-1/2" x 2" Post-It Note® pad I had the perfect idea. Why not add a quick cover to disguise the sticky notes into a mini book. I do love autumn though, there's something about the colours and textures that never fail to inspire me. Today I decided to decorate a mini pizza box with a sweet sunflower as my focal point. Although I knew I wanted a yellow sunflower on my box, I began by looking at the Come To Gather 12" x 12" ... VIEW POST
Cow’s it going? Could be better…
The fact that my blog post is late being published should give you a clue about my morning. We're currently under an extreme heat warning here in Nova Scotia and it's already 20 degrees C by 9am. Then later today with the humidity it could end up feeling like 40 degrees! As if that wasn't enough, while working at my computer I got up to get a fresh coffee. I realised that the power lead was in danger of tripping me up so brought my foot up fast to avoid it and bashed by Achilles tendon on ... VIEW POST
