It’s official, I’m addicted to the September to December 2023 Mini Catalogue. As an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I was able to order products in advance of the official launch (and at a discount too!) and I just can’t stop playing with them. I’ll be starting my sneak peeks tomorrow, one week before the Mini Catalogue goes live. This gives you time to get excited, without making you wait too long before you can order them. Meanwhile here’s a quick thank you card created using the Dainty ... VIEW POST
Dainty Simplicity
Are you a flowery crafter? I didn’t think I was until I looked back at projects I’ve made so far this year. However those photos don’t lie. Mind you, with so many gorgeous stamp sets, dies and punches in the Stampin’ Up! range it’s not difficult to find something to suit every taste. For today’s Simple Sunday project I turned to the Dainty Delight Stamp Set. I love the finished result and show another way to add ribbon to a gift tag without needing to use a punch or dies. Delight In Monochrome
Normally I’d be disappointed if it rained at the weekend, but not today. Nova Scotia’s weather is finally giving the personnel fighting the wildfires a break. Hopefully with a full week of rain in the forecast things will be under control soon. Meanwhile I’ve been working on today’s card project. As I sat down my plan was to include dies and maybe an embossing folder, and keep the colour palette very simple. The final result using the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and Dies turned out even better than ... VIEW POST
Dainty Details
At last, rainy days followed by warm sunshine have made the garden spring into life. It’s been a slow start but the leaves have finally appeared on the trees. At the edge of the ditch by the road the fern fronds are unfurling and all manner of tiny flowers have appeared in the lawn. It’s not manicured by any means, and we even embrace the bright and colourful dandelions that feed the local bees. The garden inspired today’s thank you card using the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and coordinating ... VIEW POST
Dainty Delight
Something I love having in my craft studio are flower dies to make decorations. Different sets of dies and punches come and go, but there’s always something new. As soon as I saw the Dainty Delight Dies I knew I had to get them. While I loved the coordinating stamp set, what stood out for me were the daisy and small leaf dies. These don’t match any stamps however they can be used to decorate, well, anything. So as I’m bringing out my spring décor making this candle collar was a ... VIEW POST
Dainty Flowers Warning
Last week I showed you a little treat package made using the Pretty Pillow Box Dies and a piece from the Dainty Flowers 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. One of the things about that project was that I’d cut through a floral ‘frame’ pattern. Of course I didn’t want to waste the other half so today I decided to use it up. Just a word of warning though... this paper is one of the free Sale-A-Bration products and only available until February 28th (while remaining stocks ... VIEW POST
