Oh my what a busy day it was yesterday. The Retiring List of products being discontinued by Stampin’ Up! was revealed, and there’s a lot on there! What’s more there’s discounts of up to 50% on many of them. Popular items will sell out quickly, and I’ve noticed that the 2020/2022 In Color refills are already showing as low inventory. Today’s project uses five retiring items including the Daisy Lane Stamp Set. This is temporarily not-orderable, but the final batch of stamps should be in the ... VIEW POST
Daisy Addition To Stitched Greenery
It’s the weekend. Yesterday’s lovely spring weather is a distant memory as another storm is making its way across Nova Scotia. Still, while we’re due for copious amounts of rain we’re thankful it’s not snow. Spring is definitely on the way though and I’m eagerly watching for our brown lawn to show signs of new life. After the greening comes a swathe of dandelions, followed by the daisies I love. So that thought prompted me to grab a daisy punch as I prepared to decorate a little gift ... VIEW POST
Daisy Lane For Family Get-Togethers
In case you hadn't realised, three months today will be Christmas Day. But before we get to that we've got Thanksgiving right around the corner. In Canada, Thanksgiving is the second Monday in October and often marked by family get-togethers. Today I wanted to give you an idea for a pretty way to gather up the napkins and silverware (cutlery). So I decided to pull out my Daisy Lane Stamp Set which I haven't used in ages and set to work. QUICK NAPKIN WRAP My project actually began ... VIEW POST
Hello To A New Month and Bonus Days
Hello and happy Canada Day! Once again we've come to the beginning of a new month and my To Do list has exploded. My morning started well and then it's gradually gone downhill from there. Of course after the excitement of placing my pre-order for products from the upcoming August to June Mini Catalogue I shouldn't be surprised. So for today's project I couldn't help but start with red and white card. Then after a little cutting, punching, embossing and sticking I had a fun new magnet for ... VIEW POST
Too Early For Cinnamon Cider?
I love a new Stampin' Up! catalogue, especially a new Annual Catalogue. This is the time we get a new set of In Colors - five new colours that will be with us for just two years. They are designed to complement each other and the other 45 colours in the Stampin' Up! range. For today's project I simply couldn't resist including Cinnamon Cider. It's a lovely lighter brown with warm orange tones. I love it already and have lots of ideas for future projects. For this project I've combined this ... VIEW POST
So Long Special Celebrations
Today's Simple Sunday project uses quite a few retiring products. I hadn't planned it that way, but sometimes it's just what happens. I chose the Special Celebrations Stamp Set for a sentiment, and by the time my tag was done I'd used a retiring paper, card, twine, punch and embellishment too! THREE PUNCHES Before I did anything else I wanted to first make my tag base. I cut two 2" x 4-1/4" strips, one from Whisper White Card and the other from the retiring Mosaic Mood Specialty ...
