It's the weekend, the sun is shining and I have lots I need to get done. I could pop out and mow the lawn but to be honest I don't fancy trying to avoid the blackfly. No, it's definitely much nicer inside where I can explore mother nature's bounty without getting bitten to pieces. My plan this morning was to create a gender-neutral gift tag featuring bright earth tones, and that's what I did. I'll admit that fussy-cutting the branches from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) ... VIEW POST
Daisy Days Are On Their Way
At long last colour is returning to the gardens and hedgerows. I love watching new plants emerge and flower, and then give way to others as the season progresses. For us spring is predominantly a time for dandelions with the 'lawn' in front of the house a sea of yellow. I must admit that since moving to rural Nova Scotia my opinion of dandelions has changed dramatically. No longer are they weeds that must be eradicated using any and all means at my disposal. But rather they are the first ... VIEW POST
Hand-Penned And Other Scraps Get Used
One of the things that really makes me happy is knowing that I don't waste my crafting products. I don't mean that I never mess up a project, because I do. Sometimes I can 'save' it with a little trimming, or cover up an inky mark with embellishments. Very occasionally I bin it and start again, although I never beat myself up about that. But what I'm talking about is making sure that I get the most out consumables like paper and card. For me it's simple things like keeping small pieces in ... VIEW POST
True Love Won’t Last Forever
A few days ago I showed you a tag that I stamped and then painted with ink. It seems like I may be a bit obsessed with ink painting at the moment as that's how today's project started. However instead of stamping the images, I cheated somewhat and reached for the True Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack instead. It's not the first time I've coloured one of the black and white sheets, but I just can't help it. Sadly the True Love DSP is likely to be retiring very soon so I'm making the most ... VIEW POST
Stampin’ Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue Is Now Live
After just over a week of sneak peeks the Stampin' Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue is now live for customers. There's now a link to the new catalogue in the column on the right so you can download the PDF. Or there's the French Canadian version of the catalogue if you'd prefer that instead. I've also spent the past few hours adding all the individual links to the new products in my recent sneak peek blog posts. So today I'm simply going to recap all the projects so you can see them here ... VIEW POST
Days To Remember So I Don’t Forget
The Stampin' Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue finally goes live to customers tonight at midnight Mountain Time. I didn't get a lot from the Demonstrator pre-order last month but I've had tremendous fun just the same. Today is the last of my new catalogue sneak peeks plus I've also got some reminders and announcements. Do make sure you check those out later in my blog post. To help us all keep track my final project is a pretty decorated notebook. This was created using the new Days To ... VIEW POST
