It's the last Thursday in the month and time for another A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month we have the World's Greatest kit to play with and lots of different elements to choose from. I wasn't sure about this kit initially but now I've started creating I can see so many possibilities. So here's the thing, I'm not a fan of Pacific Point as a colour. There I've said it. Of course the beauty of stamping is that you can choose any colour you like and make your projects personal to ... VIEW POST
Easy Sunset With Sponge Brayers
I love colouring but I find I'm often reaching for the same colouring tools, most recently Stampin' Blends. So with a very busy day ahead of me I decided to grab my Sponge Brayers for a quick bookmark project. Once I'd selected a sentiment and image from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set I was all set. INK AND BRAYERS I began my project with a 2" x 5-1/2" strip of Thick Very Vanilla Card. Once I'd shaped the top with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch I was ready to start work with my ... VIEW POST
Back To Summer Butterflies
It's only July 9th, so why did it already feel like autumn this morning? Thankfully the forecast is improving and it should brighten up later. I'm certainly not ready for the cooler weather just yet. I love being outside when the sky is blue and there's a gentle breeze coming in off the water. Once I'm settled on the deck it never takes long for the birds and butterflies to return. Turning Purple For A Real Bundle Bonus
So yesterday was an odd sort of day. We spent it quietly at home, but at the same time it was catalogue launch day so that meant some excitement and work to do. I admit I was stalking the Stampin' Up! website and discovered the ordering system was up and running several hours ahead of schedule. So I let everyone on my newsletter e-mail list know, and placed a big order for myself. There's a good mix of paper, inks, embellishments, stamps and of course the odd bundle or four. What I did ... My First Misty Moonlight Project
Today I thought it would be fun to bring you a project featuring two new products from Stampin' Up! After showing you a project a few days ago using Cinnamon Cider Card, today I've chosen Misty Moonlight. I also have an exciting new punch to show you too, but more of that later. I also want to show you another stamp set being retired by Stampin' Up! and today it's We'll Walrus Be Friends. MISTY MOONLIGHT BASE I began my tag with a 2" x 3-1/2" piece of Misty Moonlight Card punched at ... VIEW POST
One Final Wiggle Worm Project
Well yesterday didn't go according to plan. First I had internet issues again in the morning that meant my blog was delayed. Then I got a call asking me if I could take an extra shift at the pharmacy. I know they wouldn't call unless they really needed me so I abandoned my to do list and worked a late shift. The knock on from that was I finally got to bed late last night, and then our cat Houdini decided I needed a lie-in this morning. I've been playing catch up ever since. Still, ... VIEW POST
