If you follow me on Facebook you’ll know that I’ve just finished my World Card Making Day challenge. Every year since 2017 I’ve attempted to design and make from scratch, 24 different cards in a single 24 hour period. Once again it was a close call, as I finished that final card with only minutes to spare. Over the coming weeks I’ll showcase each one, and today I wanted to start with this simple card created using a friend sentiment and pretty floral image from the Easter Bunny Stamp ... VIEW POST
Still No Easter Bunny
Charming Sentiments
You all know I’m definitely a sucker for cute little animal stamps and am gradually building up quite the collection. One of the great things about these images is that they’re ideal for children’s birthday cards as well as baby cards. That’s what I ended up making this morning. Not that I’d sat down intending to design a baby card. In fact it was the sentiment-only Charming Sentiments Stamp Set that inspired me. Once I’d decided on the sentiment, out came the Easter Bunny Stamp Set. Because, ... VIEW POST
Dainty Little Stems
It’s no secret that I love the variety of flower and foliage images and dies offered by Stampin’ Up! It seems like there’s something to suit every occasion, and every size and shape of project. Sometimes I like to mix and match floral products, but not today. Today is all about the beautiful shapes of the Dainty Delight Dies. Zoo Crew Sloth
It’s Sunday and day two of the long weekend here in Nova Scotia. Three day weekends are great as I get a bonus day to play in my craft studio. That’s especially exciting as my latest Stampin’ Up! order was delivered last Thursday and I still have lots of goodies to explore. Meanwhile I’m having fun mixing and matching things I’ve had a bit longer. So for today’s simple Sunday project I created this card using a sloth from the Zoo Crew 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. ZOO CREW ... VIEW POST

Now that things have settled down after the Stampin’ Up! 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue launch it’s time to bring you some updates. First I’m excited that the Easter Bunny Punch which has been unavailable for a while is now back in stock. Mine is on order, and to celebrate I used the coordinating Easter Bunny Stamp Set to create today’s project. Also a quick reminder to check out the Online Exclusives section of my online store as all 12 products ‘missing’ from the Last Chance List did indeed end up ... VIEW POST
A Little Bunny Inspiration
Every time Stampin’ Up! reveals a list of products being retired there’s always a good number of ribbons and embellishments. This year is no different. However while I’m sad to see so many retiring I know there’s lots of pretty new things coming to replace them. So as my latest series of ‘last chance’ projects draws to a close I wanted to highlight one of my favourite ribbons. This Gray Granite 1/4” Shimmer Ribbon was the perfect finishing touch for today’s cute bunny project and it’s one I’ll ... VIEW POST
