It’s almost time to say goodbye to the 2023 Sale-A-Bration promotion but I’m really not sad. Now I’m looking forward to the full range of Online Exclusive products being released tomorrow. Some will only be around while stocks last, and some will be available for longer with additional orders being planned. Of the items I purchased in advance my favourite without doubt is the Basics 3D Embossing Folders pack. So for my final sneak peek project I simply had to show you the last of the three ... VIEW POST
Frosted Dots
The new Hello, Irresistible 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) available from March 1st is simply... irresistible. Yesterday I used the paper as the main layer on my masculine / gender-neutral card. Today however I wanted a lighter and fresher feel to my project so I could show off some of the new Loose Frosted Dots. But the Hello, Irresistible DSP has that too so I thought, why not? Using the colours listed on the back of the DSP pack I grabbed some coordinating card and set to ... VIEW POST
Decorative Borders Again
With the weather heading back into the freezer here in Nova Scotia I’m keeping it spring-like in my craft studio. So when I noticed the small flower in the Petal Park Stamp Set I knew exactly what colour scheme I wanted to use. This “thinking of you” card was the result. FIVE ... VIEW POST
Stylish Classic Car
Yesterday was glorious with temperatures in the double digits and wall-to-wall sunshine. Last week’s snow melted away, and we finally had a little spring sneak peek. Today however is a different day, and as this is Nova Scotia winter hasn’t finished with us quite yet. Today’s forecast includes six hours of ice pellets and freezing rain. That won’t be fun, as thick ice coating the trees and power lines has the potential to knock out the power. So while I finish preparations for that, here’s a ... VIEW POST
Stylish Shapes
Last November I completed my annual challenge to design and create 24 cards in 24 hours. It should have happened on World Card Making Day but was delayed due to Hurricane Fiona. Since then I’ve been bringing you the cards I made and providing instructions for your own personal use. Unfortunately some of my posts had to be delayed as products I used became temporarily ‘not orderable’. This is what happened with today’s birthday card featuring the Stepping Stones Stamp Set and the now back in ... VIEW POST
