I make tags, I make cards, I make boxes. In fact I make lots of different things using stamps, ink and paper, but for some reason I don't often make tags to put on cards. It's something that I never think to do until after the fact, and it was only as I sat down to show you today's tag project that I thought "wouldn't that look nice on the front of a card?". I began with a piece of Whisper White Card onto which I stamped the large sentiment from the Detailed With Love Stamp Set using ... VIEW POST
Grand designs
Only 3 more days to the end of May and the official end of the Stampin' Up! 2017/2018 Annual Catalogue and 2018 Occasions Catalogue. That means that anything that's on the retiring list and still in stock will be only be on sale for a few more days. After that time there's a slim chance that remaining stocks may appear at some time in the future on the Clearance Rack, but personally I would never bank on that as every year Stampin' Up! clears room in the warehouse by donating huge piles of ... Fancy that
Every now and then you just want something really fancy to jazz up an otherwise plain gift and in the new Stampin' Up! 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue there's a doozy. Of course as so often happens with these things the photo really doesn't do it justice and you could very easily overlook it entirely. So for today's sneak peek project I want to introduce you to the new Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. This project is so simple to make. I took a Mini Pizza Box and used ... VIEW POST
A dollar for your time
For a recent event I held to introduce local Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to some of the new products from the 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue I created a number of picture frames. Well I didn't actually create the frames but I did use Stampin' Up! products to decorate them. I started by using Tranquil Tide ink to ... VIEW POST
Spots and dots
While I love spending hours designing and creating cards and other items using Stampin Up! products I'm aware that not everyone has the time to spare, or the variety of tools and materials that I've been able to amass since joining Stampin' Up! So today I have a quick and easy card that has no punching, no die-cutting, no embossing and not even any stamping. In fact, leave off the Grapefruit Grove mat underneath the centre piece and you don't even need a trimmer to make this card! So using ... VIEW POST
Slowly but surely
My website is moving forward albeit much more slowly than I'd hoped. That said I'm planning to be blogging my new projects from this site on a daily basis starting this week. All my previous 1000+ projects and blog posts can still be found on my Stampin' Up! website at http://tracyelsom.stampinup.net. Today's simple Sunday project is a gift tag. I love the colour combination of Rich Razzleberry, Coastal Cabana and Very Vanilla, and the Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon and Tinted Faceted ... VIEW POST
