I can't believe that I'm saying this but the Envelope Punch Board is being retired by Stampin' Up! I use this simple gadget a lot and have to admit that it's a tool that I'll definitely keep hold of. I find it so useful for making custom envelopes in all sizes, and of course one of those sizes is for gift cards. So as we prepare to say goodbye I created this little good luck gift card holder. To create the good luck gift card holder I started with a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Call Me ... VIEW POST
Bride & Groom Gift
I think I'm in love with the Well Written Dies. They're the ones with lots of different words that coordinate with the Well Said Stamp Set. One of the best things about these dies is that they come out of the dies really easily. What's more, unlike some other words dies I've seen, these ones are totally readable. In fact I've been playing with this set and now have a stack of words just waiting for attention. So I picked up bride & groom, and set to work. PRETTY INSIDE AND ... VIEW POST
Family & Friends
I'm a bit of a pushover when it comes to stamp sets that you can use to build scenes. But until recently I had very few people images that I could add to them. So you can imagine how excited I was when I saw the Friends & Family Stamp Set. It's a 40 piece stamp set with bodies, heads and accessories that you can mix and match. The set is made of see-through photopolymer which makes it easy to line up the various pieces. One of the things I like about the set is that the images are ... VIEW POST
The Best Giftcard Sentiment Ever
If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know my crafting sessions don't always go to plan. Yesterday was a perfect example of that. I was working a design for a project with a baby theme. I was about halfway through, and vaguely looking at nothing trying to decide what to do next. Suddenly my eyes homed in on the All The Good Things Stamp Set, and everything changed. I had just found probably the best giftcard sentiment ever, and off I went on a tangent. THE GIFTCARD ... VIEW POST
Fly Fisherman Timing
Have you ever been fishing? I must admit it's a hobby that's never appealed to me, but I do appreciate the skills needed to succeed. Patience and preparation, being quiet and still then a sudden burst of activity. Even getting the hook into the water is an art form, especially if you're a fly fisherman. Today's project features the Best Catch Stamp Set and coordinating Catch of the Day Thinlits. I also have some important news from Stampin' Up!, but like that fisherman, you'll just have to ... Sweet Treat Packages
Time's ticking away and I've another quick Christmas project for you, snack-size sweet treat packages. These would be great for stocking stuffers, table favors, or a token gift to give out to anyone you meet. My favourite is the York Peppermint Patty, but I'm aware that some people prefer Reeses Pieces. So I've created two versions of my treat packages, one for a York Patty, and the other for the slightly larger Reeses. ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD Both sweet treat packages were created using ... VIEW POST
