I've said it before and I'll say it again. Today's project is not what I set out to make. I started with an idea for a card, using the retiring Beautiful You Stamp Set. I chose the image of the lady with an umbrella. Then I chose the sentiment "Wishing you brighter days to come". Then I went looking for some paper to link with the "bright" part of the sentiment. Having looked through a number of packs I once again veered towards the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper (DSP). The very ... VIEW POST
Spring Wreath Decor (Papercraft Style)
A few weeks back I was playing with punches and created some 3D daffodils. Then I used one of them on card for St. David's Day. Today I have another daffodil / narcissus project but on a much bigger scale, a spring wreath. ROPE WREATH I found this rope circle in my local Dollarama. That sounded like the perfect Simple Sunday project to me. So I pulled out the Floral Essence Stamp Set and the wild rose images. WILD ROSES I began with the large solid rose image inking it up with Lovely Lipstick ink. The colour was a little too dark so I first stamped-off onto scrap paper ... VIEW POST
Perennial Essence Suite
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the artists at Stampin' Up! are simply amazing. Today I want to give you a sneak peek of the Perennial Essence Suite, and particularly the Designer Series Paper (DSP). But first, here's my very simple Sunday project. SIMPLE START This card really couldn't be simpler. I started with a large card base from the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. This card is cut and pre-scored and just needs to be folded. I sharpened the crease with a ... VIEW POST
