While processing the impact of the Stampin' Up! Retiring List, I look through my catalogues and mark off the items that are going. This year there was one big surprise, and that was the retirement of a set that was not in the Annual or Occasions Catalogue. You see, normally sets that carry over from the Holiday Catalogue all appear in the next Annual Catalogue. This year however there was one notable exception, Wishing You Well. So before it's gone for good, I really wanted to remind you ... VIEW POST
Sampler Project Finally Finished
Last month I showed you part of something I was working on, but there was much more to do before I was ready to show you the finished project. Well today's the day. I've been putting together a sampler using a number of stamp sets and here's what I ended up with. SECTION BY SECTION If I'd left this project to the end to explain it to you, this would have been the longest post I've ever written. Instead, I'll link back to earlier posts where I've already shown you how I made ... VIEW POST
Printed Vellum
In less than 4 weeks I will have a copy of the Stampin' Up! 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue in my hands. What's more I will most likely have already placed my first order for new products too! It's an exciting time to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. While I love getting the new catalogue it is a double-edged sword as it means we'll also know what products are being retired for good. Don't worry, I'll be giving you regular reminders of what's going so you can stock up before it's too late. ... VIEW POST
Sweet Baby & Onesie Tip
The other day I made a really simple congratulations card using the Sweet Baby Stamp Set. It was actually one of two cards I made during that session. This second card is a little more elaborate but I have a tip for adding the cute patterned onesie. FIRST THINGS FIRST To start my project I cut and scored a piece of Powder Pink Card using my Stampin' Trimmer. Then I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder to create the card base. Using ... VIEW POST
Well Said for #WWYS209
I read somewhere that today is International Scrapbooking Industry Day, not to be confused with National Scrapbook Day which this year is on May 4th. Still, it's a great day to announce Well Said as the featured stamp set for this week's What Will You Stamp? Challenge. As soon as I saw this set I knew I needed it for my stash. It's a red rubber stamp set containing 51 individual stamps with cling mount labels. There's individual words and a variety of phrases and longer sentiments. In ... VIEW POST
The Best Giftcard Sentiment Ever
If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know my crafting sessions don't always go to plan. Yesterday was a perfect example of that. I was working a design for a project with a baby theme. I was about halfway through, and vaguely looking at nothing trying to decide what to do next. Suddenly my eyes homed in on the All The Good Things Stamp Set, and everything changed. I had just found probably the best giftcard sentiment ever, and off I went on a tangent. THE GIFTCARD ... VIEW POST
