Did you know on my blog I have a policy of not showing you projects made with Stampin’ Up! products you can no longer buy? Before I became an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator I used to watch videos and follow craft bloggers. One day a fell in love with something, only to discover I couldn’t get it for myself. I was so frustrated I vowed never to knowingly do that to my followers. So that’s why today’s project was delayed, but the Split Card Textures Dies are back in stock! TRUE ... VIEW POST
Stepping Stones Simplicity
Yesterday seemed to be another one of those days with lots of things to do and not enough time to do it in. Despite starting early I have a number of carry-over items on my to-do list today. But first I wanted to bring you instructions for another card designed and made during my personal “24 cards in 24 hours” challenge. The layout for this one is very simple and uses a 6” x 6” piece of patterned paper plus a very large sentiment from the Stepping Stones Stamp Set. TEXTURE CHIC I began ... VIEW POST
Stepping Stones
At the end of last week I received my latest group order and in it was a new stamp set just for me. It’s called Stepping Stones and it’s been on my wish list since I first saw it in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. The set is very simple and contains just six stamps, all quotations. So you won’t be surprised they inspired today’s project featuring a deer from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper (DSP) ... VIEW POST
Pretty Prints Scraps Again

For instance, embellishments are a great way to hide smaller ‘accidents’. Today’s tag project ‘do-over’ wasn’t to hide a mistake, just an uneasy feeling that it was somehow ‘unfinished’. Now, more than 10 weeks after starting, I’m ... VIEW POST
Gift Tag Surprise
One of my papercraft obsessions (apart from designing new projects) is not wasting materials. It’s for this reason that I love making bookmarks, gift tags and giftcard holders. These smaller projects use up scraps of card, paper and ribbon so it doesn’t go to waste. They can also inspire panels and layers for larger projects too, which is great when occasionally I’m faced with a creative block. So I couldn’t resist the Celebrate with Tags bundle in the Mini Catalogue and made this unusual ... VIEW POST
