Having twin granddaughters is so interesting. They’re not identical, but sometimes it’s still hard to tell them apart. One appears to be right-handed and one left-handed (they even propel their scooters with opposite legs!). This week we discovered it’s common for twins to get chicken pox 14 days apart, and for the second twin to be much worse. The poor thing, is completely covered in blisters. I’ll video chat with her later but first here’s a “thinking of you” card using the Fresh As A Daisy ... VIEW POST
Wonderful Memories
Happy Canadian Mother’s Day. Thirty seven years ago today I became a mother for the first time with the birth of my son. Then a few years later I was blessed with a daughter. Sadly my son passed away at the age of 31 following complications stemming from Type 1 diabetes he developed in his early twenties. One of the things about losing someone you love is realising that there’ll never be any new photos. For that reason I cherish every one I do have, and think a physical album is a wonderful ... Zoo Crew Inspiration
I’m not entirely sure lions like toasted marshmallows, however that’s one of the fun scenes included in the Zoo Crew 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. IDEAS Blog Hop: Fresh As A Daisy
It’s the first Wednesday of the month and time for another IDEAS blog hop. This month our theme is “fast & fabulous". I decided to create all my projects using the Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP) shown on pages 110, 111 and 130 of the 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue. I designed three cards and a bonus gift tag for the IDEAS Tutorial Bundle PDF, and another card for today’s blog post. This paper is simply gorgeous and makes it really easy to create eye-catching ... VIEW POST
Daisies And More
At last the Stampin’ Up! 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue is live and products are available for customers to buy. Over the past week I’ve brought you sneak peeks of just a few of the items I was able to buy in advance. Now, like you I’m able to choose from the entire catalogue. But with a limited budget it’s hard to know what to prioritise first. In the end I settled on some additional cardstock in some of my favourite new colours along with some ink pads and Stampin’ Blends. Then I added in a few ... VIEW POST
Fresh Sneak Peeks
Did you know that one week from today will be May 2nd? It’s a big day in the Stampin’ Up!® world as that’s when customers will finally be able to buy new products from the 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue. So I think it’s time to start giving you some sneak peeks using items I ordered in advance. There’s so many things I love, but my number one pick from the catalogue is the Fresh As A Daisy 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is going to be very popular. The Fresh As A Daisy DSP is ... VIEW POST
