My regular blog readers will know that I love extending the possibilities with my stamp sets. But I don't think I do it very often with dies. So today I thought I'd show you how I made the retiring Frosted Frames Dies useful all year. FROSTED FRAMES This project all started when I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to fix some of the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to some Very Vanilla Card. Then I cut the layers out using the large fancy die from the Frosted Frames ... VIEW POST
A Surprise Twist On The Retiring List
So much to do so little time... Today sees the release of the 2019 Holiday Catalogue Retiring List and it comes with a twist. There's products that are retiring and are now discounted. There are also other items that are retiring that are at full price. This is usually because stocks are low and it's expected they will sell out anyway. We've become used to this. The twist comes with the items that are on the 'carryover list'. Some of the items will be carried over and we'll simply ... VIEW POST
Frosted Frames With Added Sparkle
Once again another month has flown by and I'm seriously behind in my craft fair preparations. My first event is in less than four weeks and I have a huge amount of things I want to get done before then. Christmas cards are high on that list, and today I created this one with the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set and coordinating Frosted Frames Dies. FROSTED FRAMES I began my project by cutting out the foliage and snowflake layer from Shimmery White Card using the large die from the Frosted ... VIEW POST
Frosted Foliage? Not Today
Today's project is actually the second one I made today using the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set. The first project is almost finished, but I used the new Shimmery Crystal Effects forgetting that it needs time to dry. I can't finish it until I can be sure I won't wreck what I've done so far. So there was no choice other than to start again and make something else. Mind you as the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set was right in front of me it made sense to use it. Of course that didn't mean I had to ... VIEW POST
Frosted Foliage Sneak Peek
After yesterday's marathon blog post, today's will be much shorter. I've still got a sneak peek from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue though, using the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set. WINTER BACKGROUND I began with another piece from the Feels Like Frost 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. I love this paper pack and you shouldn't be surprised it's making another appearance. I took one 6" x 6" sheet and cut 2" off the right hand edge and set it aside. Then I cut a ... VIEW POST
Stylish Scroll Sneak Peek
After the last few winter / Christmas projects I thought my next sneak peek should be a little closer on the calendar. Once again I found it really hard to stick to one new thing from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue. So although my project uses four, I want you to concentrate on the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. STYLISH SCROLL If you're not a Halloween person you might miss the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder on page 53 of the Holiday Catalogue. So I decided to use it for a ... VIEW POST
