Abigail Rose Inspired
It’s no secret that I love colouring. Whether using markers, pencils or ink, I find colouring very relaxing. Of course I can’t draw to save my life which is why stamping is my passion. The stamp designer does the drawing and I just add the colour. So you can imagine my delight when I realised the Abigail Rose 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) included sheets designed for that very reason. IDEAS Blog Hop: Go To Greetings
Greetings! It’s the first Monday of the month and time for another IDEAS blog hop where this month our theme is “color me happy”. When crafting, all colours make me happy, especially when Stampin’ Up! produces coordinating card, ink etc in all of their 50 colours. So for my Tutorial Bundle projects I decided to use pairs of colours from the Regals and Subtles families and the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. Slimline Birthday Greetings
If you’re looking to make something other than a standard A2 (4-1/4” x 5-1/2”) card why not try a slimline? I’ve seen a number of different sizes of slimline cards with different names such as ‘mini slimline’, ‘short slimline’ etc. But the one I prefer starts with a piece of card 7” x 8-1/2”, scored on the short side at 3-1/2”. I like this because it makes great use of 8-1/2” x 11” sheets of card for the base and layers. Plus it fits the Slimline Envelopes from Stampin’ Up! SLIMLINE ... VIEW POST
