Once again I've been surprised by the Retiring List, but this time in a good way. This morning I received notification that Stampin' Up! have updated the Clearance Rack. This is where you'll find products that retired a while ago and are now discounted for final clearance. With this refresh there's a whole bunch of autumn and Christmas themed products, including Designer Series Paper that I know people have been looking for. What's more some of these coordinate with dies and stamp sets that ... VIEW POST
Pine Cone Paper Used At Last
I've been looking through the Stampin' Up! inventory and was pleased to see a lot of retiring products are still available. So that meant I could pull out the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (DSP) for today's card project. As I sorted through the various scraps of paper I had left I realised that one design in particular needed no cutting. It seems that at some point I'd planned to use the pine cone pattern for a card but never did. Today would be the day the pine cone paper finally ... VIEW POST
Blending Something Old With Something New
With Christmas just ten days away hopefully most people are nearly done with their seasonal crafting and looking ahead. So today I decided to create a Valentine or wedding gift tag. My original plan was to continue to showcase products that are retiring and now only available while stocks last. But somewhere along the way a couple of new products crept into my hands. So today you get to see a new ribbon and a new ink blending tool that will be available from January 5th. FANCY TAG ... VIEW POST
Add A Star For A Special Thanks
Did you realise that one month from today Christmas will be a thing of the past? I know we'd all like 2020 to be over but this is getting ridiculous. So after the rush of getting Christmas cards done and in the mail, what comes next? For me what I need most are thank you cards, and lots of them. I love designing cards that are easy to make in bulk and today's project is a real star. BRIGHTLY GLEAMING This project all started with the star design from the Brightly Gleaming 12" x 12" ... Autumn Colours Simple Thoughts
So yesterday ended with a big thunderstorm and impressive lightning. The bad weather continued overnight but this morning it's bright and sunny out. There is however a nip in the air, and I've noticed my maple trees are starting to change colour. Autumn is definitely on its way. It was this realisation that inspired today's #simplestamping 'Thinking of You" card. GILDED AUTUMN I began by choosing a pretty foiled leaf pattern from the Gilded Autumn 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series ... VIEW POST
Decorate the whole bag front
Gift bags are a great quick and easy alternative to wrapping a gift. There's nothing worse that realising you don't have enough wrapping paper, or the sellotape has disappeared. Again. Gift bags require neither. The only challenge is putting my hands on a bag that suits the occasion. So now I've solved that problem by buying a pack of 8" x 10" strong brown bags with handles. Then all I have to do is add a tag, or decorate the bag front as I've done today. BIG BAG PANEL I began by ... VIEW POST
