Once again the week has flown by and it’s time for another simple Sunday project. Today’s card uses two stamp sets. One, Greatest Journey, is retiring and only available while stocks last. The other, the sentiment-only Happy Labels, is apparently causing a little confusion. That’s because as an experiment Stampin’ Up!® offered this stamp set made in both red rubber and photopolymer. The red rubber version of the set is being retired (along with both discounted stamp set and punch bundles). ... VIEW POST
Enjoy The Journey
A little while ago I mentioned that I’d got the Greatest Journey Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. I also admitted that I’d somehow forgotten to order the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) that was created to compliment the stamps and dies. While I was mentally kicking myself at the time the frustration didn’t last long. That’s because before I managed to send in my next order Stampin’ Up! allocated a batch of this paper as a new Sale-A-Bration item so I ended up getting it for free ... VIEW POST
Greatest Opportunity
Last week I created a card using the Greatest Journey Stamp Set and coordinating dies. It was a clean and simple card with minimal colours and design elements. At the end of the post I mentioned that part of the Suite includes some 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP). I also admitted that I’d somehow managed to miss it off my order and would be sure to get it next time. So you can imagine my delight when I discovered it has been added to the free Sale-A-Bration choices! GREATEST ... VIEW POST
Greatest Journey Silhouettes
It’s been decades since I last rode a bike and I’m not even sure I could still do it. However the mountain biker in the Greatest Journey Dies really called to me. It reminds me of my son who never learned to drive but preferred to cycle everywhere. He loved the freedom cycling gave him to go anywhere and he liked to ride fast, especially when zipping past friends and work colleagues with a grin on his face. So using this simple silhouette and a sentiment I designed this card. GREATEST ... VIEW POST
Greatest Journey Begins
Having all 50 of Stampin’ Up!’s colours in inks and card is a big part of my crafting enjoyment. I’m often asked which colours someone should get and I generally respond with “my favourites may not be your favourites, so get what YOU like”. However what I do suggest is to start your colour journey by picking a few colours you like. Then as you’re making things you’ll find yourself wishing you had x colour, so then make a note to add that to your next order, and so on. LAYERS OF ... VIEW POST
Sneak Peeks No More
At last it’s January 5th and the Stampin’ Up! January to April Mini Catalogue is live for customers. I’ve had lots of fun bringing you sneak peeks of just a few of the products, but I’m excited that you can finally order them for yourselves. Also starting today is the annual Sale-A-Bration promotion where you can earn exclusive free products with every qualifying order. So here I wanted to bring together all my sneak peek projects in one place, and finally include links to the wonderful new ... VIEW POST
