It’s almost time to say goodbye to the 2023 Sale-A-Bration promotion but I’m really not sad. Now I’m looking forward to the full range of Online Exclusive products being released tomorrow. Some will only be around while stocks last, and some will be available for longer with additional orders being planned. Of the items I purchased in advance my favourite without doubt is the Basics 3D Embossing Folders pack. So for my final sneak peek project I simply had to show you the last of the three ... VIEW POST
All About The Paper
Although I love stamping (my over-full shelves are a testament to that), I also enjoy creating projects without any stamping. In yesterday’s blog post I showed you a pillowbox project where the sentiment was embossed into the card. However then I enhanced the embossing with a little ink applied using a Sponge Dauber. Today, not only did I not stamp the sentiment, but all my ink pads stayed firmly closed too. This masculine card project is all about the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and I ... VIEW POST
No Holly Boughs Today
As an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator it’s helpful to have something to keep track of my journeys. One year I bought a book specially made for this purpose but it didn’t really meet my needs. So now I make my own, and every year Stampin’ Up! provides the inspiration. My latest notebook started with the camper van piece from the He’s The Man specialty paper. By the time I was done I’d also used three different products from the Boughs of Holly suite, but still avoided including any holly ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing: Sending Good Thoughts
Today is the first Friday of the month and time for another inspirational blog hop. For the past several years I’ve been part of the A Paper Pumpkin Thing team bringing you alternate project ideas using the latest Paper Pumpkin kit. Today we’re showcasing the July kit called “Sending Good Thoughts”. This nautical-themed kit contained lots of fun pieces for layering. So for my alternate projects I decided to pare it right back with a very simple gender-neutral “thinking of you” card. Followed by ... VIEW POST
Ink For Painting
Did you know that July has been designated World Watercolor Month? While painting with ink mixed with water isn’t exactly what the originators had in mind, it’s as close as I get. I must admit that it’s been quite a while since I’ve picked up my Water Painters but this was the perfect excuse. So armed with the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and a selection of ink pads I set to work. Admittedly it did take some time but I have to say that I’m delighted with the final result. WATERPROOF ... Tailor Made For Father’s Day
It was fun unpacking the orders that were delivered yesterday. I love taking a closer look at products my customers have ordered that I haven’t got. Sometimes I can see why they bought them, even though it’s perhaps not my style. Other times it makes me add a product to my wish list. That’s what I love about the Stampin’ Up! catalogues, there’s always something for every taste. I wonder if today will be the day you decide to order the Tailor Made Tags Dies or He’s The Man DSP? TAILOR ... VIEW POST
