I’ve been counting down the weeks to Christmas for a while now and it can’t be ignored any longer. Today is November 25th and the big day is only a month away. I’m not sure how it snuck up on me but I may be officially in panic mode! It’s a good job I designed and made a stash of cards during my recent personal challenge. Today I have a Christmas card featuring squirrels. They aren’t usually associated with Christmas but somehow these particular squirrels just seemed the perfect fit. INKED ... VIEW POST
Wintry Embossing Two Ways
Woo hoo, I’ve finally received my new modem. It took me two attempts to get everything up and running (my ISP provider decided to rename my WiFi and change the password as part of the ‘repair’). So now I’m able to get back to my daily blogging schedule. I didn’t waste the time but instead decided to try out a few techniques on some new projects. Today I have two different ways to enhance your dry embossing. Both use the stunning snow design from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders ... VIEW POST
Celebrate Later
It’s Tuesday. It’s still raining. I have a huge list of things to accomplish today. But am I sad,? Oh no. That’s because, after getting held up in Quebec for a few days my recent orders are due to be delivered. There’s some staples (card and adhesives) but also some new products from the Annual Catalogue for me and some local customers. Plus I’ll also receive products pre-ordered from the July To December Mini Catalogue. It’s definitely a day to celebrate. But first, a birthday card for you to ... VIEW POST
Thanks, Merci, Danke And More
Have you ever bought an embossing folder and been a bit underwhelmed when it finally arrived? I know I have, although rarely with Stampin' Up! Still, it makes me think very carefully about what embossing folders I decide to buy. This week I finally got my hands on one of the double packs of embossing folders designed for the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine. Thanks & Hello was my first choice from the 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue and oh my goodness they are amazing! Despite their compact ... VIEW POST
Seabed Texture For A Masculine Birthday
Way back in early October I set myself a challenge to mark World Card Making Day. I would try to design and make from scratch 24 cards and coordinating envelopes in 24 hours. It was a tough challenge as always but one I really enjoy. If you followed my Facebook page at the time you'd have seen quick photos of each card as I made them. But it occurred to me that I haven't yet posted them all on my blog. So today I wanted to show you this masculine birthday card created using the Seabed 3D ... VIEW POST
One Last Little Treat Box Project
One of the problems with the Mini Catalogues is that it's really easy to think certain products can only be useful in certain seasons. Take the Little Treat Box Dies for instance, you may thinks they're really for Halloween or Christmas treats, but they ca be so much more. Today's project was inspired by thoughts of Valentine's Day or a dramatic wedding colour scheme. SCRIPTY EMBOSSING In my previous projects using the Little Treat Box Dies I've tried different techniques: a ... VIEW POST
