I've been having such fun playing with parts of the new Country Club Suite. On previous projects I've used the Clubhouse Stamp Set and Country Club Designer Series Paper. Today though I've brought it all together with the addition of the coordinating Golf Club Dies. CLUBHOUSE STAMPING I started my project with some stamping using the Clubhouse Stamp Set and Thick Whisper White Card. First I used Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiment "You're the greatest guy by par" twice. Then ... VIEW POST
Taking Subtle To A Whole New Level
Playing with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder is always fun, but I think I've taken it to a whole new level. The other day I made a masculine card using the embossing folder to create an ink embossed background. Today I decided to try something new that I've not seen anywhere else and... Well I'll let you decide the result for yourself. SUBTLE BUT AMAZING This project all started with a piece of Crumb Cake Card and a Crumb Cake ink pad. First I wiped the ink pad on the inside of the ... VIEW POST
Doing A Little Frosted Frames Surgery
My regular blog readers will know that I love extending the possibilities with my stamp sets. But I don't think I do it very often with dies. So today I thought I'd show you how I made the retiring Frosted Frames Dies useful all year. FROSTED FRAMES This project all started when I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to fix some of the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to some Very Vanilla Card. Then I cut the layers out using the large fancy die from the Frosted Frames ... VIEW POST
Embrace The Brick Wall
You've probably guessed by now that I'm passionate about papercrafting. I suppose I have to be to design and create a new project every day for my blog. That doesn't mean that I don't experience a creative block every now and again, I do. However when I hit that brick wall I simply sit down and start playing and experimenting with tools and materials. I don't have a finished project in mind, or any kind of plan. I just play for the fun of it and try not to stress about 'making ... VIEW POST
The Power Of Inked Embossing
The very first card I made as part of my World Card Making Day challenge was this good luck card. I have to say that it's one of my favourites. I'm not sure if it's the colour scheme or the very striking inked embossing folder, whatever it is I love it. GOOD LUCK This card and my challenge began with the good luck sentiment from the Believe You Can (Host) Stamp Set. I stamped the image onto a piece of Very Vanilla Card using Tuxedo Black ink, then set to work with my Stampin' Blends ... VIEW POST
Garden Retirement
It's still almost 4 weeks until the Stampin' Up! 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue goes live and time is starting to drag. It's not that I don't have lots of lovely things to play with, but I feel like we're a little bit in limbo. I still have a stack of retiring products still to show you, but want to share the new stuff too. What's holding me back is that I don't want to get you all excited about something that you'll have to wait nearly a month to buy. That doesn't seem fair. So for now I'll ... VIEW POST
