Can you believe that it’s the last day of January already! That also means we’re halfway through this year’s Sale-A-Bration promotion. I’ve been having lots of fun with the free items I earned with my orders. However, in a change from previous years this will be the only Sale-A-Bration promotion in 2023. So I’m determined to make the most of it while I still can. One item available for free with a $120 order is the 17-piece Beautifully Happy Stamp Set. This is one that’s also beautifully simple ... Dainty Die-Cut Flowers
One of the fun parts of getting new dies is simply playing with them. I find this is the best way to get a feel for what you have and what they can do. When I first saw the Dainty Delight Dies I was immediately attracted to the daisy and the curved leafy branch. So much so that I didn’t really pay attention to the other dies in the set. Today I was determined to avoid that daisy and see what else inspired me. This colourful project was the result. DAINTY DETAILS This project probably ... VIEW POST
Adorable Owls
Every time I think the Stampin’ Up! artists can’t get any better they prove me wrong. Today’s project features two new products that I absolutely love. The first is the Rain Or Shine 12” x 12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). I’ve used various patterns from this pack but it was time to finally cut up that large meadow scene. With that amazing background already done for me all I needed was a focal point. That came courtesy of the Adorable Owls Stamp Set that’s available for FREE during ... VIEW POST
Label Me Fancy Punch Tip
Some time ago I posted a video with a tip for using just the small hole part of the Label Me Fancy Punch. I’ve had lots of feedback about that tip from paper-crafters who found it really useful. However it was only as I was creating today’s simple Sunday project that another helpful tip for that punch popped into my head. What’s most surprising is that it’s very similar to a tip I’ve already posted for the Very Best Trio Punch. Sometimes it’s the most obvious solutions that escape us. LABEL ... VIEW POST
Stepping Stones Again
When I get a new Stampin’ Up! catalogue I always go through it several times, even before placing my first order. Over the years I’ve discovered that there are products I’m immediately drawn to. Then there’s others that creep up on me. There are even some that I overlook numerous times until it’s pointed out by someone else. The Stepping Stones Stamp set was one that had to grow on me, but I’m so glad I’ve got it now. Eventually I’ll even use it on some scrapbook pages I’ve planned. BIG ... VIEW POST
Poinsettia Idea
When I’m crafting I like to be able to find exactly what I need when I need it. Mostly that is achieved by having a place for everything and ‘resetting’ my craft space between each project. This is much less stressful than fruitless searching for something among an ever-growing pile on my desk. One of the jobs that I’ve been been meaning to do for a long time is make a list of the label style dies I have. Today’s poinsettia project reminded me I still need to do that. 'TIS THE ... VIEW POST
