With all the card making I do I inevitably end up with small scraps of patterned paper and card. For the most part I keep these pieces as I hate to waste anything. So when I find my scrap collection getting out of control I often turn them into a tag or two, or three. TAG BASE For today's tag project I began with a 2" x 3-3/4" piece of Misty Moonlight Card. Using the Fancy Tag Topper Punch I shaped one end and set it aside. Then I punched the top of a 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of ... VIEW POST
No Pumpkin Stamps No Problem
Life has been pretty hectic lately but with so many 'holidays' crammed into the last few months of the year that's not unexpected. I does remind me though that sometimes while you might want something hand-crafted, it has to be quick and easy. When I realised I don't have any pumpkin stamps that could have been an issue for my Thanksgiving preparations. But being the creative type I thought outside the stamp set and found some lovely pumpkins in the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) ... VIEW POST
Z-Fold cards really aren’t that difficult
Just recently it occurred to me that while I design three or four cards every week all year long, I rarely show you 'fancy folds'. Although it's called a 'mini' catalogue it actually consists of 84 pages with lots of exciting new products. You'll also find some returning items from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue too. ... VIEW POST
Celebrate With A Sunflower And Lace
It occurred to me yesterday that it's been ages since I last made a gift card holder. In fact what reminded me was seeing how many of my gift card holders I have sold recently. So what better way to celebrate than to make more... PAINTED SUNFLOWER I began my project with the pretty small sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. Using VersaMark ink I stamped the image onto some Shimmery White Card. Next I sprinkled the sticky ink with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing – A Kit In Color
It's the last Thursday in the month and so that means it's time for another Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. The May kit was called "A Kit In Color" and was our first peek at the new 2020-2022 In Colors from Stampin' Up! I must be honest and say that while I love the new colours, the kit projects didn't really appeal to me at first. That was until I actually started making them. Oh my goodness, the three cards I made following the instructions in the kit were such fun to put together. In ... VIEW POST
