Every now and then I seem to get stuck in a rut. Right now my rut involves wanting to do everything, all at once. While it makes for a very messy craft room, it does allow me to really be creative. That's how I ended up with a custom-coloured leafy trellis, along with a simple way to attach said trellis, and a tip for the Detailed Trio Punch. All this for just one gift tag. LEAFY TRELLIS It all started when I was playing with the leafy trellis panel from the Delightfully Detailed ... VIEW POST
Beach wedding – life imitates art
Regular followers of my blog will know that recently we attended our daughter's beach wedding in Lanzarote. It's a beautiful volcanic island off the west coast of Morocco, and a place that's very dear to them. Since then I've been working on creating special pieces to commemorate the occasion, and today I wanted to show you this simple scrapbook page. My family will tell you that I'm not a fan of cut flowers (they're already dying when you get them), although rooted plants for the garden or home are nice. In fact in 2011 I received a planted basket of mostly green plants and it's still growing quite nicely thank you, despite my regular neglect. I often find myself wondering then why I seem to be drawn to flowers in my papercrafting. I keep telling myself I don't need more flower images ... VIEW POST
